As shown in Figure 2, foam trays used for close-contact packaging of foods are usually formed into a shape in which a large number of trays are arranged in series on a styrofoam sheet, foamed polypropylene sheet, etc. of a certain size. Cuts 6 shown by chain lines in the figure are cut into this, and each foam tray is divided using these cuts as cutting lines. That is, first, after breaking off the edges, which are the edges, several dozen sheets are stacked and held, and then the sheets are fed one by one into a stand press, starting from the top, and cut lines are cut in the vertical and horizontal directions using a cutting die. It is stamped and divided into individual foam trays along the cut lines, and a large number of foam trays are lifted up as they are and taken out to the outside via a suction mechanism.

As shown in Fig. 3, similar to a paper box cutting die, this table press uses a series of strip-shaped steel plates with a cutting blade 1' bent vertically and horizontally along the contour line of each foam tray, with its edge facing upward. A cutting die, which is a fixed surface, is set on the upper surface of one base plate 7', and a flat plate-like lifting table 8' is lowered from above with respect to this fixed surface, and the cutting die is placed over the cutting blade 1' in advance. The supplied sheet-shaped foam tray material is compressed to obtain individual foam tray segments through a punching blade 1', and the punching blade 1' has a rhombic shape as shown by 9 in FIG. The part to be punched out is made into a rhombic shape by overlapping and welding one end of each of four strip plates 2', as shown in Figure 4a and b, and a stand directly below this part. A circular punched waste discharge hole 5' is provided on the surface of the plate 7'.

However, in reality, this punching foam waste (hereinafter referred to as punching waste), the so-called "star", is stuck in the cutting die and remains because the cutting die 1' in this part is diamond-shaped. Once they remain, it becomes difficult to remove them. Therefore, there is a risk that the punched out "stars" may get mixed into the foam tray and be packaged with the food when packaging the food, or they may not be separated from the tray. This results in disadvantages such as remaining as a part of the tray and hindering the packaging action.

In particular, foamed trays such as the one targeted by the present invention have higher elasticity than non-foamed products, and when a conventional punching blade is used, punching waste will fit elastically into the punching blade. It becomes difficult to fall downward, and since air bubbles are exposed in the part cut by the punching blade, the frictional force increases, making it even more difficult to fall downward. In addition, if you try to punch out the next tray with the punching chips stuck in the punching blade, the punching chips stuck in the punching blade will be elastically deformed, so punching is possible, but the punching chips will be elastically deformed. As the deformation is relaxed and the machine attempts to restore its original state, the scraps are pushed upward. This results in
There is a problem in that the scraps from the next tray do not enter the inside of the punching blade, and the scraps tend to get mixed into the tray.

In contrast, in this invention, this part of the punching die is formed with a punching waste release part that opens outward below the top edge that forms the cutting edge of the cutting blade, and the punching waste release part opens outward through the cutting line. The lower half of the punching blade has an outwardly expanding arcuate surface to prevent punching debris from accumulating.

An embodiment of this invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1a and 1b. The portion of the punching blade 1 located above the punching waste discharge hole 5 is formed by welding four strip plates 2 to each other. This is similar to the conventional device, but in this embodiment, these strip plates 2...
As is clear from Figure b, the area below the vertical top edge 3 forming the blade edge is an arcuate curved surface 4 that opens outward, and this arcuate curved surface 4 forms a punching debris release portion. That is, the radius of curvature of the bottom of the inclined edge is larger than the radius of curvature of the top edge 3, and as a result,
The "star" formed by punching at the top edge 3, which is the blade edge, falls easily because it enters the arcuate curved surface 4, which is the enlarged part, and is discharged through the punching waste discharge hole 5.

In addition, each band-shaped plate 2 is provided with a transverse cutting line 6 at a portion where the top edge 3 has been worn away by 3 to 10 minutes, and this cutting line 6
The lower portions are pushed outward to form the arcuate curved surfaces 4 that expand outward.
This means that the arcuate curved surface 4 acts as a punching debris release area and does not prevent the "star" from falling.Furthermore, the arcuate curved surface 4 maintains sufficient strength of the punching blade 1 itself, resulting in excellent durability. It becomes something.

With the above structure, there is no risk of "stars", which are punched foam waste, remaining in the punching blade 1, so there is no risk of "stars" remaining on the divided foam tray, and moreover, the punching blade itself It has many advantages such as sufficient strength, extremely simple structure, and efficiency.
