Abstract

PURPOSE:To save the labor and time to go and back to/from a golf set carrying cart for replacing golf club, shorten the time required to make a play, and enhance the concentration of the player on the play by equipping a single golf club with a widened function corresponding to a plurality of conventional clubs, and thereby facilitating transport of the golf set and also allowing the player to move only along the route of golf ball flying. CONSTITUTION:A junction 3 is provided between the shank 5 of a golf club and its head 1 and equipped with an angle adjusting mechanism, and thereby a golf club is accomplished which can exert a widened function covering part or the whole of woods, irons, and putters in their different Nos.

When attempting to play golf with a conventional golf club, the player must select a club of a specific count depending on the situation of hitting the golf ball, and usually 10 to 15 clubs. I had to prepare multiple golf clubs in a book and carry them around during the competition.
These multiple golf clubs are heavy and inconvenient for the competitors to carry around, so they are carried by other people such as caddies or carried by themselves using a four-wheeled vehicle called a cart. Usually expensive. Also, if the competitor is not at the point of attempting to hit the golf ball and the golf club suitable for the situation is not present and the caddy or cart is far, the competitor must replace the golf club with an appropriate one. It is necessary to make a round trip to a certain point, which requires labor and time, which not only delays the progress of the competition but also makes the athlete tired and unable to concentrate. The multiple golf clubs and the bags that hold them together are heavy and it is not easy to bring them into or out of the stadium. Buying multiple golf clubs is expensive. Traditionally, athletes have only been able to choose a golf club from a limited number of options. In other words, if you do not have a golf club of the type that seems to be truly appropriate, then there is no choice but to choose the closest number to that type.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT FIG. 1 illustrates a golf club of the present invention having two adjustable angles A and B.
FIG. 2 shows an adjusting mechanism of an angle (angle A in FIG. 1) from the horizontal of the hitting surface of the club head. The head 1 is designed to be rotatable about the axis X, and the wing nut 2 is for fixing the head 1 to the joint portion 3 between the head and the handle. FIG. 3 shows three cases in which the head 1 is rotated by this mechanism and the angle formed by the horizontal plane and the head striking surface is different. 4, 5,
FIG. 6 shows three methods for fixing the head 1 at an arbitrary angle. In FIG. 4, by tightening the wing nut 2 on the head 1 that can freely rotate around the head rotation axis 4, the C surface of the connecting portion 3 and the D surface of the head 1 can be brought into close contact with each other. The torque of the rotation of the head about the rotation axis 4 becomes equal to the reverse rotation torque due to the frictional force between the C surface and the D surface. The surfaces C and D should be rough enough to obtain sufficient frictional force, and the wing nut 2 should be fastened sufficiently tightly to the threaded portion of the head rotation shaft 4. In FIG. 5, the reverse rotation torque that counteracts the rotation torque around the rotation shaft 4 applied to the head 1 at the time of hitting is processed into the taper of the outer peripheral surface E of the head rotation shaft 4 and the head 1 which are processed into the taper. An attempt is made to obtain it by the frictional force between the inner peripheral surface F of the rotating hole. When the wing nut 2 is tightened, the tapered E and F surfaces come into close contact with each other. In the method of FIGS. 4 and 5, the rotation angle of the head 1 can be continuously selected to an arbitrary value. In FIG. 6, the outer peripheral surface G of the head rotation shaft 4 and the inner peripheral surface H of the rotation hole of the head 1 are regular uneven surfaces such as gear teeth, and rotation around the rotation shaft 4 applied to the head 1 at the time of hitting a ball. The counter-rotating torque that opposes the torque is generated by the fitting portion of this uneven portion.
However, in this case, the rotation angles that can be selected are not continuous, and the head 1 is completely rotated by the rotation axis 4 each time the angle is changed.
There are some troubles that have to be taken out. In any case, if a scale is engraved on the outer peripheral surface J of the joint portion 3 and a line is engraved on the outer peripheral surface K of the rotatable head 1 on the joint portion 3 side as an index, the head 1 You can read concretely how much is rotating. Figure 7
Shows a mechanism for adjusting the angle (angle B in FIG. 1) formed between the axial direction of the handle 5 of the club and the rotation axis X of the head 1. The joint portion 3 has a notch portion 8 and the inner surfaces L and L ′ facing each other come close to each other when the bolt nut 6 is tightened, and the I and I ′ surfaces of the handle 5 come into close contact with the L and L ′ surfaces, respectively. The club handle 5 is clamped at the pin 7 so that it can rotate freely around the pin 7. L-I, L'-I '
In order to increase the frictional force between the surfaces, the I and I'surfaces of the handle 5 may be ground and roughened. FIG. 8 illustrates the case where the angle B is adjusted and set to three different angles. If the scale is marked on the outer peripheral surface M of the joining portion 3, the value of the angle B can be specifically read.

The number of golf clubs to be carried can be reduced to a minimum of one, and labor and cost required for carrying can be saved. The labor and time required to go back and forth to the golf equipment carrier for exchanging golf clubs can be saved, and therefore the competition time can be shortened and the athlete's concentration can be improved. You can reduce the number of golf clubs you should purchase to at least one,
You can reduce the cost of purchasing. When hitting a golf ball, a player can arbitrarily adjust and set the type of golf club most suitable for the spot.
