焼室において、前記燃焼室の内周壁に周方向に間隔を置
いて複数個の突起を形成し、これら突起を吸入空気のス
ワ−ル流に干渉させて乱れ流を形成させ、もつて、スワ
−ル流と乱れ流とによつて生じた乱れ域が、燃料噴霧の
燃焼を活発化するようにしたことを特徴とする直接噴射
式デイ−ゼルエンジンの燃焼室。1.
