Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of carbon monoxide and black smoke by folding filter paper mixed therein with a low magnetic material so as to form a cylindrical body having a bellows-peripheral wall surface, and by attaching the cylindrical body at upper and lower ends with retainer plates one of which is formed therein with a communication hole. CONSTITUTION:Filter paper 13 mixed therein with a low magnetic material 12 such as ultrafine ceramic particles is alternately folded so as to form the peripheral surface of a cylindrical body 11 in a bellows-like shape. Retainer plates 14, 15 formed of metal plates or plastic plates plated with metal are attached to the upper and lower ends of the cylindrical body 11. One of the retainer plates 14, 15 is formed therein with a communication hole 16. Further, a hole 17 formed in the other one of the plates 15, 16 is suitably sealed by the casing of a cleaner. With this arrangement, fuel is satisfactorily burn in a combustion chamber so as to reduce unburnt components in exhaust gas, thereby it is possible to reduce the generation of carbon monoxide and black smoke.
