(産業上の利用分野) 本考案は磁気カードに関し、特に偽造防止機能
を持たせた磁気カードに関する。 (従来の技術) 通常、磁気カードは、樹脂製の基板上の少なく
とも一部領域に磁気記録用の磁性膜を形成し、こ
の磁性膜を含む基板全面に更に保護膜を形成して
成る。特に、使用済みの場合に捨てられる使い捨
てタイプの磁気カードは、磁性膜が全面に形成さ
れたカード上に更に所要の文字やイラストが付さ
れて成る。この種の磁気カードは、例えば乗車券
や勝馬投票券あるいはテレフオンカードのように
多くの分野で利用され、利用分野は更に拡大する
傾向にある。 (考案が解決しようとする問題点) ところで、この種の磁気カードには、例えば回

した磁気カードを提供することを目的とする。 (問題点を解決するための手段) 本考案は、基板の少なくとも一部領域に磁気記
録用の磁性膜が形成されている磁気カードにおい
て、前記磁性膜の上面あるいは下面側に熱変形プ
ラスチツクフイルムを設けたことを特徴とする。 (作用) この磁気カードは、磁気記録再生部にサーマル
ヘツドやレーザビーム等の加熱手段を備えた磁気
記録再生装置に用いられ、最終使用時に前記熱変
形プラスチツクフイルムの少なくとも一部領域を
前記加熱手段で変形させることにより、この領域
に対応する磁性膜を破壊して磁気記録を不可能と
するようにしたものである。 (実施例) 以下に、図示する一実施例につき本考案を説明
する。 第1図において、1は厚さ250μmのポリエチ
レンテレフタレートによるカードの基板である。
この基板1上に接着剤を用いて厚さ12μmの熱変
形プラスチツクフイルム2(例えばポリエステル
系)を張り付け、その上に磁気記録用の磁性膜3
を塗布形成する。さらに、磁性膜3上に保護膜4
を塗布形成し、磁性膜3と保護膜4とを合わせて
厚さを10μmとする。このようにして得られた磁
気カード10の磁性膜3に使用目的に応じて所定
の内容の磁気記録を行う。 一方、磁気記録再生装置としては、磁気記録再
生部にサーマルヘツドあるいはレーザビーム照射
器等により磁気カード10の少なくとも一部領域
を所定温度以上に加熱することのできる加熱手段
を備えたものが使用される。この加熱手段は、磁
気カード10を、例えば回数券のようにして使用
する場合には、記録・再生を行う毎に使用回数に
応じてその回数記録領域を順次加熱するように制
御される。勿論、1回限り使用可能な磁気カード
として使用する場合は、磁気カード10全面を加
熱するようにしても良い。 このようにして、加熱手段により所定温度以上
に加熱処理された磁気カード10の領域は、熱変
形プラスチツクフイルム2が変形(主に収縮)す
ることにより、変形領域に対応する磁性膜3のみ
が破壊される。このことにより、破壊された磁性
膜3への磁気記録は不可能となる。このため、加
熱手段による加熱領域は、一部の磁性膜が破壊さ
れるだけで残りの磁性膜への磁気記録が無効にな
