However, when using the conventional method as described above, when the web of the sash member is crimped into the crimping groove of the corner block, a gap is created between the retaining faces or a step is created between the facing faces, resulting in the alignment being incorrect. This defect was often observed especially in the case of large sash members. To prevent this, it is necessary to ensure that there is no looseness when the corner block is inserted into the cavity of the sash member; It has not been carried out because it makes it extremely difficult to carry out tasks and extremely reduces work efficiency. The present invention attempts to solve these problems.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to drawings showing an implementation state of one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view (corresponding to the sectional view taken along the line B-B in FIG. 2) showing a state in which a corner block and a sub-corner block are inserted into a sash member and their retaining surfaces are aligned in the present invention; Figure 2 is a sectional view taken along the line A-A in Figure 1, Figure 3 A is a front view of the sub-corner block, B is a sectional view taken along the line C-C in A, and Figure 4 shows the caulking groove of the sub-corner block. FIG. 5 is a perspective view of an example of a crimping jig used for crimping the sash member, and FIG. 5 is an explanatory view showing the state in which the crimping jig shown in FIG. 4 is used. To carry out the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a hollow portion 1a is provided in the sash member 1 as in the conventional manner, and a sub-corner block insertion piece support portion 1b is newly formed. In addition to the conventional corner block 2, a new sub-corner block 3 is prepared. The hollow portion 1a of the sash member 1 is formed by flanges 1 on both sides that constitute the side walls of the sash member 1.
The webs 1d and 1e are formed in the longitudinal direction by providing the webs 1d and 1e in one piece with the webs c and 1c. The sub-corner block insertion piece support part (hereinafter sometimes abbreviated as sub-corner block support part) 1b has a lip 1g in the longitudinal direction on the back side of the flange 1c of the sash member 1.
It is formed with attached ribs 1f. In the left example of the two examples shown in FIG. 1, the sub-corner block support portion 1b consists of two ribs 1f with lips 1g, but this is not necessarily necessary, and an insertion piece 3a of the sub-corner block 3 to be described later is used. As long as it supports the corner block and has at least one rib 1f with a lip 1g, even if the rib 1f without a lip is a component of the sub-corner block support part 1b, as in the example on the right side of FIG. good. Further, it is not necessary to form this sub-corner block support part 1b on the back sides of both flanges 1c, 1c, respectively, as shown in FIG. 1, but it may be formed only on the back side of one flange 1c. The above-mentioned matters regarding the sash member 1 also apply to the other sash member 1' to which it is connected and fixed, and each component is indicated by the same reference numeral as the sash member 1 with a dash (') added thereto. In the illustrated example, these two sash members 1, 1 have the same width on the facing surfaces, and therefore, the width of the retaining surfaces 1h, 1h' of each sash member 1, 1' and the edge line of the flanges 1c, 1c' is Although the angles θ and θ are equal, the sash members 1 and 1' do not necessarily have to have the same width on the facing surfaces, and may be used as sash members 1 and 1' having different widths and different angles θ and θ'. As shown in Fig. 2, the corner block 2 has two insertion pieces 2a and 2a' that are inserted into the cavities 1a and 1a' of the sash members 1 and 1' when the sash members 1 and 1' are connected and fixed. When the insertion pieces 2a, 2a' are inserted into the cavities 1a, 1a', the webs 1d, 1
d or 1e, caulking groove 2 on the outer wall on the side in contact with 1e
b and 2b' are formed respectively.
Although each α is shown at 90 degrees in the figure, it may be at an angle other than 90 degrees. corner block 2
As for the weight, as in the illustrated example, cutouts may be provided as appropriate to reduce weight or save materials. The sub corner block 3 is attached to the sub corner block support portions 1b, 1 of the sash members 1, 1' as shown in FIG.
The two insertion pieces 3a, 3a' to be inserted into the corner block 2 are integrally formed so as to match the angle α, and each insertion piece 3a, 3a' is inserted into the sub-corner block support part 1b, A caulking groove 3 is formed on the outer wall portion that contacts lips 1g and 1g' when inserted into 1b'.
b, 3b' are formed. Even if there are two lips 1g above and below, as in the example on the left side of FIG. 1, it is sufficient to form these caulking grooves 3b, 3b' on the outer wall of the sub-corner block 3 that is in contact with one of them. . The sub-corner block 3 is shown in Fig. 3A in order to make it easier to see the crimping positions of the crimping grooves 3b, 3b' when the sub-corner block 3 is inserted into the sub-corner block support parts 1b, 1b'. An arrow-shaped protrusion 3c may be provided at the position. As shown in FIG. 1, the caulking grooves 2b, 2b' of the corner block 2 should be formed on the outer wall of the side that is in contact with the webs 1d, 1d' or 1e, 1e'. auxiliary corner block support portion 1b,
The caulking grooves 2 of each of the corner block 2 and the sub-corner block 3 should be formed on the outer wall on the side that contacts the webs 1d and 1d' on the 1b' side.
This is preferable because the crimping work for b, 2b' and 3b, 3b' can be performed from the same side, and a crimping machine as described later can be used. In each of the corner block 2 and the sub-corner block 3, the two insertion pieces 2a and 2a' and 3a and 3a' have the same shape, which facilitates their manufacture. It is preferable because the sash members 1 and 1' can be used without distinguishing between them, and for this purpose, it is preferable that the sash members 1 and 1' have the same width.

The present invention is carried out as follows using the sash member 1, the corner block 2, and the sub corner block 3 in which the hollow parts 1a, 1a' and the sub corner block support parts 1b, 1b' are formed, respectively, as described above. . That is, first, insert the insertion pieces 2a, 2a' of the corner block 2 from the retaining surfaces 1h, 1h' of the sash members 1, 1', and at the same time insert the insertion pieces 3a, 3a' of the sub-corner block 3. Align the retaining surfaces 1h and 1h' of the two sash members 1 and 1'.
As a specific example of the procedure, the hollow part 1 of the sash member 1
Insert one insertion piece 2 of the corner block 2 from the cut surface 1h side between the corner block support part 1b and the corner block support part 1b.
a and one insertion piece 3a of the sub-corner block 3 so that the other insertion pieces 2a' and 3a' face in a predetermined direction, and then insert the retaining face 1h' of the sash member 1' into the sash member 1'. 1, insert the hollow portion 1a' and the sub-corner block support portion 1b' into the insertion piece 2 of the corner block 2, respectively.
a' and the insertion piece 3a' of the sub-corner block 3, and as shown in FIG.
Align the retaining surfaces 1h and 1h'. After fixing this state by an appropriate means as described later, first insert the webs 1d, 1d' of the sash members 1, 1' from above the caulking grooves 2b, 2b' of the corner block 2 by the arrows X,
A connection operation is performed in which the webs 1d and 1d' are caulked by applying strong pressure in the direction of X'. The above-mentioned crimping work on the corner block 2 can be easily performed by using, for example, a corner crimping machine for aluminum sash "Presta" (registered trademark) manufactured by Al Plast Machine Co., Ltd. Next, insert the lip 1g of the sub-corner block support portion 1b of the securing member 1 into the caulking groove 3b of one insertion piece 3a of the sub-corner block 3.
The lip 1g is caulked from above as shown in FIG. 5 using, for example, a caulking jig 4 as shown in FIG. In this case, by strongly pressing the lip 1g with the tip 4a of the crimping jig 4 at the position indicated by the protrusion 3c in FIG. 3A, it can be seen by combining FIGS. 3A and 3B with FIG. As shown in FIG. 3B, the lip 1g is strongly pressed from above the end of the entire width of the caulking groove 3b that is far from the retaining face 1h, and this end has an inclination as shown in FIG. The strong pressure of the tip 4a of the jig 4 is divided into parts and acts to pull the sash member 1 together with the lip 1g toward the mating sash member 1'. Tip 4a of caulking jig 4
Normally, the caulking groove 3b is hidden by the lip 1g and difficult to see at the above-mentioned position where it is strongly pressed. As shown in the example shown in the figure, a convex part 3c is provided on the outer surface of the sub-corner block 3 which is not hidden by the lip 1g, so that its position can be easily recognized. It is preferable to keep it. Then, by performing the same crimping operation on the other insertion piece 3a', the sash members 1 and 1' are drawn together and firmly solidified with no gap or step between the retaining surfaces 1h and 1h'. It is connected and fixed to. The crimping work using the corner block 2 and sub-corner block 3 described above may be performed for each corner as many times as necessary.

If the sash members 1 and 1' are connected and fixed according to the present invention as described above, if the webs 1d and 1d' of the sash members 1 and 1' are simply swaged into the swage grooves 2b and 2b' of the corner block 2, Retaining surface 1h,
Even if a gap is created between the retaining faces 1h and 1h' or a step is created between the flange 1c and 1c' when the fixed state in which 1h' are aligned and released, the fixed state will not be maintained. While maintaining this, add a lip 1g to the caulking grooves 3b and 3b' of the sub-corner block 3.
By caulking 1g', even if the fixed state is released, the above-mentioned gaps and steps will not occur at all. By crimping together the two types of crimping members, the corner block 2 and the sub-corner block 3, the connection and fixing strength between the sash members 1 and 1' is greatly increased. In addition, although the crimping work uses two types of crimping members, corner block 3
By making the crimp parts 2b and 2b' width corner block supports formed in the length direction on the back surfaces of the flanges 1c and 1c' of the sash members 1 and 1', the crimp work on the corner blocks 2 is made easier. It is possible to easily carry out the crimping from the same side as the corner block 3 using a device such as a crimping machine, and therefore, if it is done as in the illustrated example, the crimping part to the corner block 2 can be made invisible from the outside. can.
