Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity for work of building a lighting system in a jobsite of installation by building a long and narrow lighting plate, with a plurality of lamps mounted, integrally with a support, and thereafter fixing the plate to a handrail deck board lower side through the support by a mounting screw inserted from an upper side. [Claims] 1. A balustrade lighting device for an escalator, comprising a slender lighting board having a plurality of lamps mounted on a support on the lower side of a handrail deck board. An escalator balustrade lighting device characterized in that it is fixed to the lower side of the handrail deck board via a support with a mounting screw penetrating therethrough.
