Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a composite board, which is manufactured easily, and manufacture thereof. CONSTITUTION:A composite board is obtained by foaming and curing a synthetic-resin foam raw material 6 between plywood 1 as an upper layer and plywood 2 as a lower layer. The plywood 1 as the upper layer and the plywood 2 as the lower layer are superposed through spacer pieces 5 in forms 4 formed so as to surround the four sides of the composite board 10 while a section between the plywood 1 as the upper layer and the plywood 2 as the lower layer is filled with the synthetic-resin foam raw material 6, and the synthetic- resin foam raw material is heated and foamed while being pressed and clamped, thus laminating a synthetic-resin foam layer between the two plywood. Accordingly, a process, in which a synthetic resin foam is machined, and a process, in which the foam is bonded, can be conducted simultaneously, thus simplifying a manufacturing process.

Therefore, as a result of intensive investigations by the present inventors to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks,
Processing synthetic resin foam by filling synthetic resin foam raw material between two plywood and allowing it to foam and harden, rather than stacking synthetic resin foam that is a secondary product between two plywood. The present invention has been completed by finding that the step of applying and the step of adhering the synthetic resin foam to the plywood can be omitted. Therefore, a first object of the present invention is to provide a composite plate that is easy to manufacture. A second object of the present invention is to provide a novel method for manufacturing a composite board.
