Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce noise in a package type screw compressor by shielding with a noise-proof cover a compressor unit installed on a common base, and by shielding the outer peripheral part of the common base with a shielding plate. CONSTITUTION:A compressor unit 6 installed on a common base 4 for a package type screw compressor is shielded by covering it with a noise-proof cover 5. Further, the common base 4 is provided with a mounting part 3 which protrudes toward the outer peripheral part and has a rubber plate 1 attached using mounting bolts 2. Thus, the outer peripheral part of the common base 4 which is not shielded by the noise-proof cover is covered with and shielded by the rubber plate 1. In this way, installation of the rubber plate 1 via the mounting part 3 provides an air space between the common base 4 and the rubber plate 1 and improves noise-proofness.
