[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Summary] A relay broadcast requesting station marks connection information of a plurality of relay broadcast destination facsimile receivers on a mark sheet, and a facsimile transmitter converts the mark of the connection information into a connection code. By transmitting image information together with a relay facsimile transmitter/receiver having a relay broadcast function, it is possible to easily request a relay broadcast.

On the other hand, the relay station 31 temporarily stores the received image information in the file device 31a, and dials the received destination number as it is, so that the relay station 32 can send the information to the receiving stations 40 to 42, which are each destination, in the same way. A method is adopted in which the data is broadcasted to each of the receiving stations 43 to 45, which are the destinations, and the communication result data is sent back to the requesting station 30. Note that each receiving station 40 to 45 prints the received original on recording paper.

According to the present invention, a mark sheet (hereinafter referred to as OMR sheet) is used as a facsimile device on the sending side.
By using a low-cost facsimile machine that has a recognition function, an automatic dialing function, and a partially expanded control procedure function for making relay broadcast requests, and eliminates the need for file storage storage, relay broadcast transmission is possible. It is now possible to build a facsimile network that realizes extremely low communication charges, and
Mark the connection information of the relay facsimile transmitter/receiver and the connection information or abbreviated telephone number of the relay broadcast destination facsimile receiver on the OMR sheet, and the rest can be operated with a single touch.

Using the shortened telephone number registered in , the mark of this shortened telephone number is converted into code data and sent to relay station facsimile B, which converts the shortened telephone number to a telephone number and relays the same. A connection can be made to the destination facsimile receiver. In this case, the relay broadcast requesting station can specify multiple relay broadcast destination facsimiles C 1 to C o by simply marking a short abbreviated telephone number, which further simplifies the relay broadcast request process. be done.

[Scope of Claims] 1. A facsimile machine in which a facsimile transmitter at a transmitting station requests a relay facsimile transmitter/receiver to perform a relay broadcast, and transmits image information to a plurality of relay broadcast destination facsimile receivers via the relay facsimile transmitter/receiver. In the relay broadcast request method, the facsimile transmitter includes a reading means for reading a mark sheet in a predetermined format on which a mark including connection information of the relay facsimile transmitter/receiver and a plurality of relay broadcast destination facsimile receivers is applied and an image information manuscript. 2a, mark recognition means 7a that recognizes and encodes the marks on the mark sheet read by the reading means 2a, and number storage means 9a that stores the connection code and telephone number of the relay facsimile transceiver in correspondence with each other.
When the connection code of the relay facsimile transmitter/receiver coded by the mark recognition means 7a is converted into a telephone number and inputted via the number storage means 9a, the telephone number is inputted via the network control section 14a. When the automatic dialing means 13a that sends out to the line is connected to the relay facsimile transmitter/receiver,
Transmission control means 12 that establishes a transmission control procedure with the relay facsimile transmitter/receiver, including the exchange of connection codes for a plurality of relay multicast destination facsimile receivers.
a, a control means 8a for controlling each of the means and transmitting the image information to a relay facsimile transmitter/receiver;
In the relay facsimile transmitter/receiver, storage means 102 for storing connection codes and image information of a plurality of relay multicast destination facsimile receivers received from the facsimile transmitter, and the plurality of relay multicast destination facsimile receivers. A number storage means 9b stores the correspondence between connection codes and telephone numbers; and the connection code of the relay multicast destination facsimile receiver stored in the storage means 102 is converted into a telephone number via the number storage means 9b. automatic dialing means 13b that sends the telephone number to the line via the network control unit 14b each time the telephone number is inputted; a transmission control means 12b that establishes a transmission control procedure between the two; and a control means 8b that controls each of the means and sequentially transmits the image information stored in the storage means 102 to a plurality of relay multicast destination facsimile receivers. A facsimile relay/broadcast request method characterized by: 2. The facsimile relay broadcasting system according to claim 1, characterized in that an abbreviated telephone number registered in a relay facsimile transmitter/receiver is used as connection information of a plurality of relay broadcasting destination facsimile receivers to be marked on the mark sheet. Information request method.
