Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify and economize working for forming fold section accumulation block and to largely improve working efficiency so as to reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION:Fold section formation lines A-F for forming fold sections 1A2-1F2 of serial pages from cut sheets 1A-1F or a take-up sheet are arranged in parallel and a common fold section accumulation line G is arranged at the outlet side of the fold section formation lines A-F. The fold sections 1A2-1F2 to be supplied from the fold section formation lines are laid at the fold section accumulation line G in serial order so as to form a fold section accumulation block 13 of the serial pages.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a signature is formed from a sheet or roll on which a fixed number of pages are continuously printed, and the signatures are temporarily stocked for each page group of the same series. Re-separate each signature group and use it for the loader,
In the loader, the signatures were taken out one by one from each signature group and stacked one by one to form a signature stacking block of continuous pages, which was then subjected to the bookbinding process.

According to the above conventional example, a stock group is formed for each signature of the same through page, and signatures of the same through page (for example, pages 1 to 16) from the first stock group are formed. The group is re-separated, and then the signature group of the same through-page (for example, pages 17 to 32) is re-separated from the second stock group, and the same re-separation is repeated for the loader. The signatures are taken out from the group one by one, and the signatures are piled up. The signature accumulation block of the continuous pages (for example, pages 1 to 96) is completed for the first time in the bookbinding process. The formation of the Ding integrated block is extremely complicated and inefficient, which imposes a heavy burden on personnel and labor, resulting in a high cost.

The signature stacking line G includes a guide rail G1 formed of a long receiving plate for supporting the signatures fed from the signature forming lines A to F, and a central portion of the guide rail G1. Has a pusher G2 that moves along a line, the pushers G2 are arranged on the chain conveyor G4 at equal intervals, and the rails and pushers are extended so as to pass through the ends of the lines A to F and accumulated. Form a line G. The signatures 1A2 to 1F2 supplied from the signature forming lines A to F are supported by the guide rail G1 and transferred by the pusher G2, and are sequentially stacked in the transfer process. A predetermined number of the above-mentioned sheets supplied to each signature forming line are accumulated, and the accumulated sheet group is intermittently raised by a well-known lifting means so that the uppermost sheet is always kept at a constant level.
