Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect vibration of a burner main body or housing at the time of ignition explosion of fuel so as to stably perform confirmation of ignition for a long time by providing a vibration detection sensor on a predetermined position of the burner main body or housing. CONSTITUTION:In a combustion chamber 3 of housing 1, fuel is fed from a burner main body 2 while air is swirling-induced from a swirler 4, and the fuel is mixed with the air for combustion in a burner tile 5. Three radiant members 6-8 are arranged around the combustion chamber 3. An expansion cylinder 9 and regenerater 10 are arranged in the lower part of housing 1, and both are communicated with each other by a heater pipe 11. In this constitution, a vibration detection sensor 12 is attached to a predetermined position of the burner main body 2, and the vibration of the burner main body 2 at the time of ignition explosion of fuel is detected by the vibration detection sensor 12. Accordingly, confirmation of ignition can be performed stably for a long time.

In the conventional ignition confirmation device for a Stirling engine as described above, a platinum wire is wound around the frame rod in order to detect the ion current, but it cannot be detected unless the flame is received. However, when a flame is received, the platinum deteriorates due to heat, which shortens the life of the detection rod, which eventually causes unstable detection.

In the ignition confirmation device for a Stirling engine constructed as described above, the burner vibration detection sensor attached to the burner body 2 detects a predetermined vibration, that is, a unique vibration when the fuel is ignited. Also,
The burner body emits a unique vibration when the fuel is burning in the combustion chamber 3 as compared to when it is not burning. Therefore, the burner vibration detection sensor can detect the ignition state by the unique vibration. It is also possible to issue a peculiar alarm or the like from an alarm device or the like (not shown) separately connected.

In this embodiment, the vibration of the housing in the ignition state is vibrated by mounting the housing vibration detection sensor 13 at a predetermined position on the upper portion of the housing 1, as shown in FIG. Can be detected. The vibration of the housing in the ignition state is naturally different from the vibration in the non-ignition state. By setting a predetermined vibration of the housing in the ignition state, the vibration sensor detects whether the ignition state or the non-ignition state. can do. Further, in the well-known method, as shown in the first embodiment, it is possible to make various selections such as making an alarm and tripping when there is no ignition.
