This type of cordless telephone device replaces the curl cord (handset/receiver cord) on regular telephones with a wireless one, allowing the telephone to be freely carried around and used within the home. It consists of a handset (phone body) and a handset (transceiver) that is connected to the base phone so that it can transmit and receive electromagnetic waves.

By the way, in this type of cordless telephone device, if there is a power outage in the commercial power supply on the base unit side or if the voltage of the battery power supply on the slave unit side drops, wireless communication becomes impossible. Additionally, if other wireless devices are used in the same area, electromagnetic waves may be interfered with and interference may occur. In such emergencies, connect the base unit and handset using a wired communication cord. It was configured so that wired calls could be made. That is, conventionally, in this type of cordless telephone device, a modular jack is provided for the base unit and the slave unit, and the base unit and the slave unit are connected using a wired telephone cord having a plug that is inserted into these jacks. By doing so, it was possible to switch from a wireless communication system to a wired communication system.

However, in the structure described above in which the communication method is switched from wireless to wired by attaching and detaching the wired communication cord, a relay, etc. is required to electrically switch the contacts that connect and disconnect the wireless communication circuit. This not only increases manufacturing costs, but also requires space to accommodate these electrical components, leading to problems such as the overall size of the device. This means that the relay mentioned above has contacts,
This is obvious from the fact that it is made up of a complex combination of many parts such as contact springs and electromagnets, making it relatively large and expensive.

For this reason, in the above-mentioned cordless telephone device, a wired/wireless switch for selectively switching between wireless communication and wired communication, and a wired/wireless switch for selectively switching between wireless communication and wired communication, and a wired/wireless switch are provided on the base unit and the handset, respectively, and these switches are connected to the above-mentioned connection and removal of the wired communication cord. A configuration in which the switch can be manually operated from the outside has also been considered, but such a configuration would require a manual operator to switch the wireless/wired switch, increasing the number of component parts and increasing costs. It was something that would have made me very nervous. Furthermore, with such a configuration, it is necessary to switch the wireless/wired switch mentioned above at the same time as connecting the wired call cord, which makes it easy to forget to operate this switch, and also poses problems in terms of operability. Therefore, it is necessary to take these points into consideration and take some measures to further alleviate the above-mentioned problems.

Reference numeral 30 denotes a storage for storing a wired communication cord 31 for wired connection between the telephone main body 2 and the handset 3 in an emergency such as a power outage when not in use. It is provided by making use of the space formed on the back side of the main body by making the surface downward toward the front. The storage 30 is configured to be able to be opened and closed by a swingable opening/closing lid 32 that is locked at the lower end, and is opened when necessary to lead out the wired telephone cord 31 to the outside, and connect the handset and receiver to the outside. The structure is such that it connects to the connection part on the third side. Note that 31a in the figure is a connecting plug provided at the tip of the cord 32, which is inserted into the modular jack 33 provided on the transmitter/receiver 3 side, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. Furthermore, this embodiment shows a case where the base end of the cord 31 is directly connected to a wired circuit such as a printed circuit board 34 disposed inside the telephone main body 2. There is. Also,
In the figure, reference numeral 32a denotes a locking portion of the opening/closing lid 32 which has a substantially U-shape and is elastically deformable, and is configured to be able to maintain the closed state of the opening/closing lid by being locked to the case 4 side. has been done.

Now, according to the present invention, in the cordless telephone device having the above-mentioned configuration, an opening/closing lid that opens and closes the housing 30 for the wired telephone cord 31 for connecting the telephone body 2 and the handset 3 in an emergency such as a power outage. 32 is characterized in that it is configured to switch and control a wireless/wired changeover switch 35 for switching between wireless calls and wired calls on the telephone main body 2 side. That is, the opening/closing lid 32 of the above-mentioned cord storage 30 is opened when a wired call is required, and the present invention skillfully utilizes this to attach the telephone to the lid 32 in conjunction with the opening/closing operation. Printed circuit board 34 within main body 2
The configuration is such that a wireless/wired switching switch 35 attached to the top can be switched and controlled. In addition,
In the figure, 35a is a switch operating end that is integrally formed with the opening/closing lid 32 and turns on the switch 35 when the lid is closed, and separates from the switch 35 and maintains the OFF state when the lid is opened. The operation thereof is easily understood. Good morning.

According to such a configuration, the opening/closing lid 3 of the storage 30 that stores the wired telephone cord 31 is
2, the wireless communication state is maintained, and when necessary, by opening the opening/closing lid 32 of the storage 30 to use the wired communication cord 31, the telephone main body is closed. The wireless/wired switching switch 35 on the second side is switched to the wired side, and wired communication becomes possible. Therefore, according to the present invention, since a switching means separate from the conventional wired telephone cord 31 is provided, it is easy to forget the switching operation, which causes problems in terms of operability, number of parts, etc. It can wipe out any problems that may have arisen, and its practical effects are great.

Here, it is also necessary to switch the internal circuit from wireless to wired on the handset 3 side to which the tip of the wired telephone cord 31 is connected, but this is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. As shown, the operating end 36a is integrated with a slide plate 36 that is slidably attached to the case 5 so as to normally close the module jack 33 portion, and a printed circuit board disposed within the transmitter/receiver 3. This can be easily handled by configuring the changeover switch 37 to be operable by a slide switch or the like on the switch 37a. That is, the slide plate 36 described above is opened when making a wired call so that it can be connected to the modular jack 33, and is closed to cover the modular jack 33 when not in use, that is, when making a wireless call. This has the advantage that no special switching operation is required. In addition, with such a configuration, the module jack 33 is covered when not in use, which prevents dust and the like from entering, thereby preventing problems such as poor contact.

As explained above, according to the cordless telephone device according to the present invention, a wireless/wired switching switch for switching between a wireless call and a wired call on the base unit side is formed on the base unit side. Since the switch is linked to the opening/closing operation of the opening/closing lid of the storage compartment, despite the simple and inexpensive configuration, when making a wired call using a wired call cord, it is easy to simply switch the cord storage. The wireless/wired switch can be switched simply by opening the cover, which improves operability and eliminates problems such as forgetting to operate the switch. It also simplifies the configuration of each part and reduces the number of components. There are various excellent practical effects such as the ability to reduce costs and reduce costs.
