Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a pipe joint which can be connected simply without using a spanner or other tool and so reliably that it will not become loose. CONSTITUTION:A cap nut 4 is mounted rotatably on the outer circumference of a first member 1 at one side of a pipe joint. A seal ring 3 is mounted on the outer circumference of an insertion cylinder 5 at an end of the first member 1, and also a stopper projection 9 is provided on the outer circumference of the base portion of the insertion cylinder 5. An outer cylinder 6 is fitted onto the insertion cylinder 5 until its end contacts with the stopper projection. A female screw portion 11 of the cap nut 4 is screwed onto a male screw portion 10 on the outer circumference of the outer cylinder 6, and an engaging flange portion 7 of the cap nut 4 is confronted with an engaging flange portion 7 of the insertion cylinder 6. めオーブンにねじ込んで接続してある。第一部材1の先
端部に図4に示すように挿入筒5を設けてあり、挿入筒
5の外周にはリング状の凹条15を全周に亙って設けて
あり、凹条15にOリングのようなシールリング3を装
着してある。挿入筒5の基部には周方向に亙って当て止
め突起9を設けてある。第一部材1の外周には図5に示
すような袋ナット4を回転自在に装着してあって、当て
止め突起9にて袋ナット4が外れないように取り付けて
ある。袋ナット4の先端の外周には係止鍔部7を一体に
突設してある。第二部材2はコンロ側から配管したガス
供給管18の端部に一体に取り付けてある。第二部材2
の先端部には図6に示すように上記挿入筒5の外周に被
嵌し得る被嵌筒6を設けてあり、被嵌筒6の外周には袋
ナット4の雌ねじ部11を螺合し得る雄ねじ部10を設
けてある。被嵌筒6の基部には係止鍔部7を全周に亙っ
て突設してある。バンド8は略C字状に金属のばね性材
にて形成され、周方向に係止スリット12を穿設してあ

向する係止鍔部の外周に被嵌すると共にバンドに設けた
係止スリットに対向する一対の係止鍔部をはめ込んで係
止して成る管継ぎ手。
