2. Description of the Related Art In a fragment loom such as an air jet loom, a water jet loom, a rapier loom, etc.
As shown in (Air jet loom), the plucking selvages 2 are formed by weaving the warp yarns 1 at both edges so that the yarns are not unraveled at the left and right edges of the woven fabric P. Further, a weft filler 4 for confirming whether or not the weft 3 is reliably driven is provided on the opposite side of the weft yarn 3 to the outside of the portion forming the twisting selvage 2, and the weft filler 4 A holding device 5 for sucking and holding the yarn end of the weft 3 that has passed through the weft filler 4 is provided on the outside. The yarn end portion of the weft yarn 3 held by the holding device 5 is entangled with the weft yarn processing yarn 6 supplied from the outside of the warp yarn 1 to form a throwing selvage 7, and then a cutter 8 in sequence. Therefore, the twisting ear 2 is cut off. Reference numeral 9 denotes a guide roller that pulls out the cut away selvage 7 to the outside of the woven material P and removes it.

However, when the excess portion of the weft yarn 3 is cut by the cutter 8 as described above,
There is a problem that cutting powder is generated from the weft yarn 1 at the time of cutting, and the periphery is contaminated. In particular, when glass fibers are used as the weft yarn 3, several hundred filaments of glass fibers are bundled with a binder (a sizing agent). Therefore, filament powder or binder powder is generated during cutting, A part thereof adheres to the end of the woven fabric, or accumulates and adheres to the cutter 8, the winding roller 10, the surfs roller (not shown) and the like. If the cut powder is left to accumulate, it is not preferable because the cutter 8 may be difficult to cut or the woven material may be soiled. Also, if the cut powder accumulates on the elastic material such as rubber wound around each roller or the felt-based napped material, the roller diameters will gradually differ between the non-feeding side and the yarn feeding side, which will affect the fabric. There is a problem in that the tension becomes different between the left and right, which causes poor texture.

According to this apparatus, the cutting powder generated when the weft 3 is cut by the cutter 8 can be sucked and removed from the opening 10a of the suction nozzle 10,
The cut powder does not adhere to the woven fabric P, nor does it accumulate and adhere to the blade of the cutter 8 and the peripheral rollers. Therefore, the woven material P is not contaminated and the cutting ability of the cutter 8 is not deteriorated. Also, conventionally, only the non-feeding side such as the take-up roller and the surf-s-roller is
Gradual accumulation of cutting powder gradually increases the diameter and the tension on the fabric becomes unbalanced on the left and right, resulting in weaving failure. However, this device does not cause such imbalance of tension, and weaving does not occur. The quality of the dough is not deteriorated.

Then, as described above, the opening 10a faces upward.
When arranging, the mounting position of the suction pipe 10 is raised above that in FIG.
May be set so as to contact the end of the woven fabric P from below. By doing so, when the woven cloth P is brought into sliding contact with the opening 10a, the cutting powder attached to the cloth P is opened in the opening 10a.
Since it is scraped off at the edge portion of, the cut powder can be removed by suction more reliably. In this case, in order to enhance the effect of cutting off the cut powder, a plurality of rubbing rods 11 are provided in the opening 10a of the saxion pipe 10 in parallel with the direction of the weft thread 3, as shown in FIG. You can also do it.

Further, in the above embodiment, the cut powder is sucked and removed from the lower side, but as shown in FIG. 5, the air nozzle 12 is provided from the upper side to the lower side.
Alternatively, the cut powder may be blown off and removed by injecting air at a high pressure downward from. However, since it is not possible to completely eliminate the contamination of the peripheral parts by just blowing it away, a suction pipe 13 for suction is arranged immediately below the air nozzle 12 as shown by the chain line to blow away the cut powder. By sucking this from the lower side, the cut powder can be reliably removed.

As described above, according to the present invention, in the fragment loom, a suction nozzle or an injection nozzle is provided in the vicinity of the downstream side of the cutter on the non-feeding side so that the cutting powder generated during the weft cutting is immediately sucked or removed. It is designed to be blown off and removed. Therefore, according to the present invention, the cut powder does not adhere to the woven fabric, does not deposit and adhere to the cutter blade or the peripheral rollers, etc., which may result in contamination of the woven fabric or reduction in the sharpness of the cutter. Absent. Further, conventionally, only on the non-feeding side such as the take-up roller and the surf roll, the diameter gradually increases due to the accumulation of the cutting powder, and the tension applied to the fabric becomes unbalanced on the left and right, and the weaving failure is likely to occur. However, according to the present invention, such an imbalance in tension does not occur, the life of each roller is extended, and the quality of the woven fabric is maintained.
