の際アルミメッキ層がピックアップされ成形加工機に付
着して該鋼板の耐食性や表面外観を劣化する問題から、
特公昭63−12141号公報に記載するように「予め
アルミメッキ鋼板表面にクロメート処理を施した後、透
明樹脂塗料(クリヤー塗料)を5〜15μ厚に塗装し、
乾燥した成形加工機へのアルミ付着を防止したアルミメ
ッキ鋼板」の開発も進められている。しかしながら、ア
ルミメッキ層そのものが軟らかいため、複雑な形状やロ
ール成形加工後さらにプレス成形加工を行う過酷な加工
が要求される建材品においてメッキ層が疵付き、該疵付
部から赤錆を発生する問題があった。また、このような
疵付きや赤錆は、ロール成形加工法よりも摩擦力の大き
いプレス成形加工法において多く発生する問題があっ
た。

料を0.5〜4.5μ厚で塗装する。透明樹脂塗料はク
ロメート皮膜を施したアルミメッキ鋼板加工時の潤滑油
的機能と加工後の良好な外観性を保持するために塗装す
るもので、アルキッド系、アクリル系、ポリエステル
系、シリコン変性系、ウレタン系、弗素系など各種の合
成樹脂塗料が使用される。このような単一品種の合成樹
脂塗装では前記したような過酷な加工に満足する潤滑性
能が得られないので、その潤滑性能を改善するために、
ワックスを含有させる。ワックスはポリエチレン系、オ
レフィン系、ポリプロピレン系など各種の合成潤滑油を
使用し、その量は図2で示すように、乾燥後の塗膜重量
比で0.1〜3.0%を含有する。すなわち、ワックス
が、0.1%未満の少ない含有量では潤滑性向上効果が
小さく、反対に3.0%を越える過剰な含有量では潤滑
性向上効果が飽和域に達しそれ以上の効果は認められな
い。合成潤滑油の中でもポリエチレン系は、塗装後塗膜
表面に移動して、塗膜表面がポリエチレン微粒子で覆わ
れるため潤滑効果が一層大きくなる特長がある。

明において、透明樹脂塗装膜の厚さが、前記したような
従来の塗装アルミメッキ鋼板の塗装膜(5〜15μ厚)
に比較して薄く仕上げられる事は、透明樹脂塗料にワッ
クスを含有させる効果によるものである。

た。透明樹脂塗料(川上塗料(株)製)のコイルコート
289(アクリル樹脂)に粉末状ポリエチレンワックス
を乾燥塗膜量の重量比で0.6%添加して塗膜厚みを
0.51,24.5μ塗布し200℃で焼付乾燥した。
これを図4に示す屋根材にロール成形加工及びプレス加
工を行った。また比較例として同一前処理を行ったのち
ポリエチレンワックスを添加しないでコイルコート28
9を7μ塗布したものについても同一の加工を行った。
その結果を表1に示す。表1の結果から塗膜中にワック
スを添加することによりプレス成形性が向上することが
わかる。
