(Prior art) Conventionally, in order to facilitate the installation of a tire chain, Utility Model Application Publication No. 66307 of 1971 provided a ladder-shaped lid with a butterfly plate on the main body of a tire chain installation device that could accommodate a tire chain. The lid has a groove so that a tire can be placed on the lid with the lid closed and a tire chain can be attached. It is provided so as to be able to freely extend forward with respect to the casing. An upwardly protruding body is formed on the front part of the bottom plate, and a recess for the tire is formed between the protruding body and the front end surface of the upper part of the casing, so that a chain can be stretched.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) However, there are various types of tire chains, such as a type in which a vertical cross chain is hung at a right angle between two horizontally separated main chains, or a type in which a diagonal cross chain is added to the above type (see Figure 5). Therefore, while the conventional structure is suitable for a tire chain with only a vertical cross chain, in the case of a tire chain having a vertical cross chain and a diagonal cross chain, there is a risk that the tire will always step on the diagonal cross chain when mounting the tire, and if it does, the tire chain will not be able to move, and in this state, it is difficult to adjust the movement of the tire chain in the horizontal and circumferential directions of the tire in order to mount the tire properly.

In addition, with the conventional type, when attaching a tire chain to a tire, the tire chain must be removed from the main body or case in which it is stored, and the removed tire chain must be unfolded and set on the mounting tool. For this reason, it takes time and effort to install the device, and there is a problem in that such work is forced on cold roads in winter.

(Function) When the tire chain 6 is not used,
In the case of a tire chain 6 consisting of main chains 61a, 61b and a vertical cross chain 62a, the second to third vertical cross chains 62a from one end of the tire chain 6 are connected to the bottom surface 4a of the tire receiving plate 4 in advance. Spread the tire chain 6 and place it on the tire receiving plate 4 so that it is located in the center of the tire (see Fig. 3), pass the main chains 61a and 61b on both sides through the notch grooves 41c and 41d of the support parts 41a and 41b, and then The remaining tire chain 6 is housed in the box body 1, and the lid plates 2, 2' are closed. In this state, the box body 1 is placed on a running surface close to the tires 5, and the lid plates 2, 2' are opened to bring the front end side surfaces 21, 21' into contact with the ground. Then, by starting the engine of the car and moving the car body, the tire 5 was raised from one side of the transition parts 42a, 42b from the cover plates 2, 2', and the tire 5 reached both the tops of the support parts 41a, 41b. (See Figure 4). When this tire 5 rises above the cover plates 2, 2', the tip side surfaces 21, 2
1' has sufficient pressure resistance and prevents the cover plates 2, 2' from sinking. Therefore, both ends of the tire chain 6 inside the box body 1 are connected to the short side plates 11a, 11 of the box body 1.
b Pull it out, and set the dimensions of the tire receiving plate 4 such that the width and total length in the vertical direction are shorter than the width of the tire chain 6 and two pitches of the cross chain 62a in the vertical direction, so that the tire chain 6 can be pulled out upward. Therefore, the main chains 61a and 61b are inserted into the notch 4.
2c, 42d, the main chains 61a, 61b spread outward,
The tire chain 6 is removed from the cutout grooves 41c and 41d to the outside, and the tire chain 6 is wound around the tire 5 around the tire receiving plate 4 without any trouble. When wrapped, the connecting points at both ends of the tire chain 6 are located on the side of the tire 5 where the vehicle body does not get in the way, and the hands can be used freely, so that the connecting parts 63 can be easily connected. Additionally, if the spacing between the cross chains 62a in the longitudinal direction differs depending on the type of tire chain 6, the connection points may vary and connection may be difficult, or the positional relationship of the tire chain 6 with respect to the width direction of the tire may vary. Since the driver does not step on the tire chain 6, the tire chain 6 can be moved within an appropriate range in the circumferential direction and width direction of the tire 5, and can be set at an optimal position.

Further, when using a tire chain 6 having a vertical cross chain 62a and an oblique cross chain 62b as shown in FIG.
61b and the vertical cross chain 62a, the diagonal cross chain 62b may also be inserted in advance through the through grooves 42e and 42f of the tire receiving plate 4.
The cross chain 62b is connected to the support part 41 at e and 42f.
a, 41b, so that the diagonal cross chain 62b is not stepped on by the tire. Furthermore, the notch grooves 42c and 42d of the tire receiving plate 4
are the main chains 61a and 61b of the tire chain 6
is provided so that it does not protrude to the side of the tire receiving plate 4 and sag.
