Abstract

PURPOSE:To set a display part of a portable computer at the optimum position by securing a detachable structure of the display part with its electrical connection kept as it is. CONSTITUTION:An attachable/detachable mechanism P is provided between a display part 1 and a hinge part 22 formed at the main body of a portable computer consisting of a control part 2 and an operating part 3. The mechanism P is actuated with push of a spring 6 carried out with a button 4 of the part 2. One of both ends of the spring 6 is defined as a fixed end 7 with the other defined as a free end 8 respectively. A projection part 9 of the end 8 is detached from a projection 10 of the part 1 with push of a spring 5. Then the end 8 is pulled toward an arrow B so that the part 1 is separated from the main body of the computer.
