防止でき、確実、かつ円滑な噛合を行わせること
ができ、また、両ギヤの離間に際しても両ギヤを
移動させているので円滑な離間を行わせることが
できる。すなわち、一対のギヤのうちの一方を他
方に対して係脱させる際、上記一方のギヤの移動
方向を、両ギヤの中心間を結ぶ直線に交差するよ
うに設定すると、両ギヤが噛合する際に歯山同志
が干渉しにくい利点が得られる反面、両ギヤの離
間が迅速に行われないことになるが、本発明では
互いに噛合する一対のギヤを両方とも移動させる
ので、両ギヤの離間も迅速に行われることになる
のである。したがつて、ヘツド取付け部材の進退
動作に関連させて望まれるタイミングでリール軸
の回転開始および回転停止を確実に実行させるこ
とができる。

れ、上記ヘツド取付け部材が所定位置まで前進し
たときに前記一対のギヤを噛合させるべく上記第
1、第2の可動部材をそれぞれ移動させ、上記ヘ
ツド取付け部材が後退し始めるときに上記一対の
ギヤを離間させるべく上記第1、第2の可動部材
をそれぞれ移動させる第1、第2の係合部とを具
備し、前記一対のギヤの係脱時に、上記一対のギ
