CONSTITUTION:A flexible connector 9 is used to connect flexible printed circuits 4 and 8. The connector is opposed to its counter part of a flexible circuit. The terminal portion of a first printed circuit 4 connected with the connector is moved together with the corresponding terminal portion of a second printed circuit 8 and both are connected. These printed circuits can have a shorter extension. ネクタに差し込む端子部を有する第2のフレキシブルプ
リント基板の接続端部を伸長し、機器筐体の開口部から
外界に引出し可能に形成し、その引出し部で接続作業を
行ない、接続完了後、該接続部を折りたたみ、筐体内に
収納する接続方法において、該フレキシブルプリント基
板コネクタの差込口と、その接続相手である差込端部の
各フレキシブルプリント基板伸長方向に対する方向を互
いに逆向きとし、フレキシブルプリント基板コネクタを
実装した第1のフレキシブルプリント基板の接続端部
と、差込端子部を有する第2のフレキシブルプリント基
板の接続端部が、少なくとも接続部近傍で重なり並進し
た後、差込接続されることを特徴とするフレキシブルプ
リント基板の接続方法。
