For this reason, for example, when using a small, high-density magnetic disk with a diameter of about 2 inches, such as a floppy disk for an electronic still camera, and using the magnetic disk by rotating it at high speed, the magnetic disk must be sandwiched between the magnetic disk and the magnetic head. A grooved stabilizing member facing the magnetic head is provided to improve contact stability between the magnetic head and the magnetic disk.

Figures 4 and 5 show the conventional structure of such a stabilizing member. In the figure, 1 is a flexible magnetic disk, 1a is its center hub, 2 is a cassette (hard case) containing the magnetic disk 1, 2a is its head window, 3 is a magnetic head, and 4 is a magnetic disk.
is a stabilizing member with a groove 4a. When the cassette 2 is attached to the magnetic disk drive device, a spindle (not shown) fits into the center hole of the center hub 1a, and a shutter (not shown) moves to open the head window 2a. , the magnetic head 3 is connected to the head window 2a.
and the stabilizing member 4 are arranged to face each other with the magnetic disk 1 in between as shown in FIG.

That is, when the cassette 2 is installed, the head window 2a is opened and, for example, the stabilizing member 4 provided in the cassette housing of the magnetic disk drive device moves toward the magnetic disk 1 to stabilize the tip of the magnetic head 3. It is designed to project into the groove 4a of the member 4. Therefore, due to the cooperation between the magnetic head 3 and the lower surface of the stabilizing member 4, the magnetic disk 1 is bent as shown in FIG.

When the stabilizing member 4 as described above is provided, the stability of the so-called head touch is greatly improved compared to the case where the stabilizing member 4 is not provided. However, in the past, the stabilizing member 4 was fixed to the lower surface of an arm member, etc. that supported it, and due to variations in mounting accuracy, processing accuracy of parts, etc., it was sometimes impossible to obtain the desired head touch.

Reference numeral 12 denotes a column inserted into a hole 7c formed in the center of the three prongs on the free end side of the support arm 7, and its head 12a is held in contact with the upper surface of the support arm 7 to prevent it from coming off. . Further, as shown in FIG. 2, the lower end of the stabilizing member 4 is fitted into the central part of the stabilizing member 4, and a washer 13 is fitted to the annular neck at the distal end thereof, thereby preventing the lower end from coming off. The arm 7 suspends and holds the stabilizing member 4 via a support 12. Note that the support column 12 is the stabilizing member 4
The support arm 7 is fitted into the support arm 7 so as to be movable integrally with the support arm 7, and is designed to be able to swing slightly around the intermediate flange 12b with respect to the support arm 7. (Fig. 2) 14 is an adjustment spring made of a metal thin plate spring,
As shown in FIG. 1, it has a flat main body part 14a, and first limbs 14b and second limbs 14c extending diagonally downward from the flat main body part 14a and perpendicular to each other.
The flat main body portion 14a is closely attached to the lower surface of the support arm 7, and its end portion is fastened to the support arm 7 with a screw 11, and the first limb 14b has its tip held in the stable position while resisting its elasticity. A screw 11 is fixed to the upper surface of the member 4, and the tip of the second limb 14c is in elastic contact with the upper surface of the stabilizing member 4. As a result, the stabilizing member 4 is urged away from the support arm 7 by the adjustment spring 14 .

An adjustment screw 16 for adjusting the height of the stabilizing member 4 is screwed together. The tip of the adjustment screw 16 is connected to one side of the bulge 2a-1 (FIG. 1) of the opened head window 2a when the cassette storage body 5 into which the cassette 2 is inserted is locked into the lower position as described above. In this state, the adjusting screw 16 is inserted into the tip of the positioning pin 20 (FIG. 2) of the device main body that also protrudes into the bulged portion 2a-1.
