Among these methods, a method of laying electric wires along the travel path of the moving object and detecting the arrival of the moving object using detectors connected to multiple points in the longitudinal direction of the electric wire is disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 54-4128, for example. It is described in.

In this method, as shown in FIG.
The sensor 1 is activated simultaneously in response to the arrival of the moving object 3, and the signal is sent to the discrimination device 5 through the electric wire 4.The combination of sensors 1 to be connected is specified for each connector. By setting the position, it is possible to determine the position of the moving body 3. If the number of electric wires 4 is N, the output of the detector is either "0" or "1", so 2 to the N power of detectors 2 are installed in the longitudinal direction of the electric wire, and each can be distinguished.

In addition, a plurality of reed switches are incorporated in each detection unit, and when activated, these reed switches are turned on and off at once. At this time, there was a problem in that the countermeasure against chattering, that is, the circuit for removing chattering noise was complicated.

Detection units 13 of the moving body are electrically connected to a plurality of locations in the longitudinal direction of this electric wire. The detection unit 13 consists of three components as indicated by broken lines in the figure. One is a pull-out part 15 that is electrically connected to all the insulated wires 6, 7, 8, and 9 except for the ground wire 14, and is made up of, for example, a branch connector and a lead wire, and the second part is activated in response to the approach of the moving object 3. Switch 1 consisting of a reed switch etc.
6. Finally, there is a selector circuit 17 that selectively electrically connects one end of the switch 16 and the drawer section 15. The other end of the switch 16 is electrically connected to the grounding wire 14, and this connection portion is also included in the lead-out portion 15.

When the moving body 3 approaches the left detection unit 13 as shown in the figure, the switch 16 is turned on. At this time, the voltage of the insulated wires 6, 8, and 9 electrically connected to the ground line 14 via the lead-out portion 15, the connector 18 of the selector circuit 17, and the switch 16 decreases to, for example, 1 volt. The discrimination device 5 discriminates this and determines which detection unit is activated.

(Effects of the invention) As explained above, according to the mobile object position detection device of the invention, the detection unit is standardized, so there is no need to provide a specific detection unit for each detection part, and there is no need to provide a connection line. Since a unique address is set for the detection unit by fusing or cutting, the address can be easily set.Furthermore, since there is only one switch, the chattering noise removal circuit, etc. can be simplified.
