That is, considering versatility and cost, the finned tube 12 is a belt-like fin 1 of several meters to several tens of meters.
4 and a water pipe 15 of the same length, which is then cut to the desired length and used. In order to fit the tube 12 into the flange 17 of the header 13, both ends of the finned tube 12 must be cut off as described above. However, when both ends of the finned pipe 12 are separated at the joints with the water pipes 15, the flocculent portion 18 of the peripheral wall of the water pipe 15, which was the joint with the fins 14, is exposed as part of the fins 14. Since aluminum remains, when each end of the water pipe 15 is fitted into each flange 17 of both headers 13 made of copper and joined, the remaining aluminum on the peripheral wall of the water pipe 15 and the copper of the flange 17 become dissimilar metals. As a result, joint defects such as poor brazing and welding may occur, and problems such as flow and fluid leakage may occur at the joints.

As shown in FIG. 8, when fitting the water pipe 15 of the finned pipe 12 into the flange 27 of the header 23, in order to make the fitting depth constant, the middle part of the flange 27 is This also exists when the header 23 in which the diameter enlarged portion 27a is formed is joined to the finned tube 12.

Means for Solving the Problem This invention is based on a method in which a copper water pipe having the same length as the fin and extending in the longitudinal direction of the fin is joined to the bottom surface of an aluminum band-shaped fin, and both ends of the fin are connected to the water pipe. In a coupling device for connecting a plurality of finned pipes which are separated at the same time and are cut out leaving a water passage pipe, and a pair of copper headers having a plurality of holes drilled in the peripheral wall and an outwardly protruding flange provided on the periphery of the hole. In order to achieve the above objective, the outer diameter of each flange is made smaller than the inner diameter of each water pipe, and a flat surface is provided around the base end of each flange, and both ends of each water pipe are connected to both headers. The pipe is fitted onto the outer peripheral surface of each flange so as to come into contact with each flat surface portion of the pipe, and the water pipe and the flange are joined by brazing or welding.

Function The connecting device between the finned pipe and the header according to this invention has the outer diameter of each flange smaller than the inner diameter of each water pipe, and both ends of each water pipe are fitted over the outer peripheral surface of each flange. Since the water pipe and the flange are joined by brazing or welding, both ends of the fin are separated at the joint with the water pipe, and the water pipe is removed, leaving only the water pipe. Even if aluminum remains as part of the fin at the joint with the fin, this part will still be on the outside of the water pipe, and the parts to be brazed or welded will be made of similar metals. Effects of the invention In the device for connecting the finned pipe and the header of this invention, both ends of the fins are separated at the joint with the water pipe, and the water pipe is removed, leaving only the water pipe. Even if aluminum remains as part of the fin at the joint with the fin, this part will still exist outside the water pipe, and the parts to be brazed or welded should be made of similar metals. Therefore, bonding defects such as brazing defects and welding defects do not occur, and there is no fear of cracking or fluid leakage at the joints caused by the bonding defects.
