Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent blank writing by performing knocking operation at initial stage to use a pencil pen, determining a filling in of a lead when the state of the pencil, lead is not changed by the knocking, and avoiding use of the pencil pen. CONSTITUTION:A directive value A of a position detector 226 after a pen-down operation for controlling a tip of a pencil lead 15 so as to abut against a recording face 23 is stored. When the value A is at a part lower than a grounding height for a predetermined quantity or more and at a part higher than a height without lead, probability of filling in of the lead is determined and a pencil pen 1 is knocked for extending the lead by a knocking mechanism 11. After the knocking, a second pen-down operation is performed, and a directive value B of the position detector 226 after a second pen-down operation is stored. When the value A and the value B coincide with each other within a range of a predetermined allowable difference, a filling in of the pencil pen 1 is determined. As a result, blank writing can be prevented effectively by avoiding use of the pencil pen.

In the prior application, a writing distance accumulator is used and it is determined that the core is clogged when the feeding / discharging operation is not performed even if the count value of the accumulator exceeds a predetermined maximum writing distance. However, some pencil pens have already caused core clogging during the feeding / discharging operation, and such clogging cannot be detected by the device of the prior application. In order to prevent such core clogging, a mechanism is provided for detecting the fall of a used pencil lead during the feeding / discharging operation, but this fall detection mechanism may erroneously detect it as described later.

When the lead-out operation is repeated several times in accordance with the consumption of the pencil lead 15, the upper end of the pencil lead 15 comes out of the lead chuck member 123. Since the pencil lead 15 in such a state is unstable, this is determined by a conventionally known method, and the pen is replaced or the lead / discharge core operation is performed. Normally, an unused pencil pen or a pencil pen that has been fed / exhausted is stored in the storage pen holder, and the pencil pen with the unstable pencil lead is moved to one of the storage pen holders and fed. A pencil pen that has been ejected is taken from the storage pen holder to the pen holder 225 of the pen block 22 and used.

A pencil pen with an unstable pencil lead is transferred to one of the storage pen holders, and then a feeding / discharging operation is executed, and the pencil pen is stored in the storing pen holder as a pencil pen which has been fed / discharging operation. In the feeding / discharging operation, the knock of the knock mechanism 11 and the compression of the engaging spring 132 are alternately repeated to be used at the front end of the pencil lead 15b (see FIG. 5 described later) newly gripped by the lead chuck member 123. The used pencil lead 15a is pushed out by pushing the rear end of the used pencil lead 15a (see FIG. 5 described later). Further, a lead detection sensor (not shown) is provided to confirm that the used pencil lead has been discharged.

FIG. 5 is a sectional view for explaining the state of core clogging and core breakage that may occur during the supply / discharge core operation.
The same reference numerals as those in FIGS. 3 and 4 indicate the same parts, 15a is a used pencil lead, and 15b is a new pencil lead. Pencil lead 1
The pressure at which the front end of 5b and the rear end of the pencil lead 15a disagree with each other, the pencil lead 15b applies pressure in a direction to bend the pencil lead 15a without pushing out the pencil lead 15a, and compresses the rubber ring 131. Add. Therefore, the pencil lead 15a
Cannot escape the rubber ring and fall. Figure 5
In the state of (A), since there is no output from the lead detection sensor, it is possible to determine that the lead is clogged and take countermeasures.

However, with a thin core, it is often the case in FIG.
As shown in (B), the lower part of the pencil lead 15a may break and fall. In this case, since the lead detection sensor detects the fall of the lead, it is erroneously determined that the feeding / discharging lead operation has normally ended, and the pencil pen is stored in the storage pen holder as a pencil pen on standby. When such a pencil pen is used, the engagement spring 132 is generated due to the pencil lead 15b.
Is in a considerably extended state, the pen block 22 cannot judge the core clogging, and when drawing is performed by unattended control,
There is a problem in that a so-called blank page is created and much waste occurs.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a flow chart showing an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a numerical example showing the height of each position of a pencil pen in the embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, 1S to 14S indicate each step, “knock height” shown in FIG. 2 is an instruction value of the position detector 226 when performing a knocking operation, and “pen-up height” is a pen without recording. The "landing height", which is the indicated value of the position detector 226 when moving the block 22, is the value of the position detector 226 when the tip of the pencil lead comes into contact with the recording surface in a state where the new pencil lead is normally fed. It is an instruction value (this is the same as the height in the state where the lead-out operation is normally performed), and the centerless detection height is as described above. Further, Δl represents an allowable range in which the landing height is recognized as normal.

It is clear from FIG. 5 that when the center clogging as shown in FIG. 5 occurs, the engagement spring 132 is in a state of being slightly compressed as compared with the state after the normal centering operation, and Δl is A value determined in consideration of this compression amount, Δ
If l is made too large, the state of core clogging may be overlooked, and if Δl is made too small, in the knocking operation shown in step 8S of FIG. At the centerless detection height, the operation corresponding to the centerlessness is performed by the conventional program 14S, and the centerlessness determination zone is from the position where Δl is subtracted from the landing height to the centerless detection height.

When the pen removal is performed in step 1S, it is determined in step 2S whether or not the pencil pen 1 is in an unused state after the core feeding / discharging operation, and in step 4S, after the landing is completed, the pen height A (that is, , The indication value of the position detector 226 in that state) is stored. If A is less than the coreless detection height, the conventional program 14S is entered as coreless detection,
If A is within the core jam determination zone, knock operation is performed in step 8S, and pen height B is stored after landing is completed in step 9S. In step 12S, A and B match within a predetermined allowable error Δh. If so, the state of the pencil lead does not change even by the knocking action, so it is determined that the pencil lead is clogged, and a predetermined action is performed.

1. A pencil lead is gripped by an upper lead chuck mechanism and held by pressure of a rubber ring of a lower pencil lead displacement mechanism, and the lead chuck mechanism temporarily holds the pencil lead by vertical movement of a knock mechanism. And the pencil lead displacement mechanism is connected to the lead chuck mechanism by an engagement spring and is held by a pen holder of a pen block so as to be movable in the axial direction of the pencil lead with respect to the lead chuck mechanism. Then, the lower end of the pencil lead displacement mechanism is supported by a stopper fixed to the base of the pen block, and the tip of the pencil lead is pressed against the recording surface by applying force in the direction of pressing the pen holder toward the base. Recording is performed on the recording surface, the pen holder is lowered according to the consumption of the pencil lead, the engaging spring is compressed, and the pencil lead is not slid in the rubber ring. Holds the pressure contact of the tip of the pencil lead to the recording surface, and when the pencil lead is exhausted and the compression of the engaging spring reaches a predetermined limit value, raise the pencil pen and knock the knock mechanism. In the recording device using the pencil pen, the lead-out operation is performed, and when the pencil lead currently in use is detached from the lead chuck mechanism at the time of the lead-out, When the axial direction is the vertical direction, a new pencil lead is equipped with a pen actuator that moves the pen holder in the vertical direction with respect to the base, and a position detector that detects the vertical position of the pen holder with respect to the base. When the tip of the pencil lead comes into contact with the recording surface in the state where the core is normally fed, and the landing height is the value indicated by the position detector, and the pencil lead is consumed and the lead lead-out operation of the pencil lead is required. When the position detector's indicated value is the height without centering and the unused pencil pen is mounted on the pen holder of the above-mentioned pen block after the core feeding / discharging operation is executed, the core clogging judgment operation is performed first, and this core clogging judgment operation is performed. Then, means for storing the indication value A of the position detector after performing the pen down operation for controlling the tip of the pencil lead to contact the recording surface, and the value of A is lower than the landing height by a predetermined amount or more.
