側縁をチユーブ上に位置させ、該チユーブを膨張
させたときには箱状体内に水溜めが形成され、該
チユーブの体積を変えることにより該水溜めの水
位を調整し得るようにしたことを特徴とする植物
栽培容器用の底面灌水装置を提供するものであ
る。

本考案の底面灌水装置を使用する際には、箱状

る。チユーブに空気を注入して該チユーブを膨張
させたときには、一側縁又は両側縁のチユーブと
箱状体における壁部と底部とにより水溜めが形成
される。この水溜めに水を注入すれば植物栽培容
器の底部に設けられた通水孔より水が植物栽培容
器内に侵入する。チユーブ内の空気を排出させる
ことによりチユーブの体積を小さくすれば水溜め
の水はチユーブ上より外部に溢出する。このよう
に、水溜めの水位はチユーブの体積により定ま
る。チユーブ内の空気をほぼ全部排出させてチユ
ーブを完全に収縮させたときには、マツトにおけ
るチユーブ側の側縁は箱状体より外方に垂下し、
箱状体の底面より低くなる。従つて、チユーブを
完全に収縮させた後水溜め内に残存する水は吸水
性のマツト内を通り該マツトの垂下側縁より外方
に滴下する。従つて水溜め内の水は完全に除去さ
れる。

してフエルト等の吸水性のマツト7を敷設し、該
マツト7の一側縁7′をチユーブ5上に位置させ、
チユーブ5に空気を注入して該チユーブ5を膨張
させたときには該チユーブ5と箱状体1における
壁部3と底部4とにより水溜め8が形成され、チ
ユーブ5内の空気量を変えて該チユーブ5の体積
を変えることにより水溜め8の水位を調整し得る
ようにする。チユーブ5は適宜空気弁(図示せ
ず)を介して空気ポンプ(図示せず)に接続す
る。9はマツト7上に敷設した通水性を有する保
護シートであつて、植物栽培容器10内の植物の
根がマツト7に絡み付くことを防止するためのも
のである。11は箱状体1の前記側縁2に付設し
た水受けである。12は水である。
