Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a chute of belt conveyor for powder/lump form material, with which the material is unlikely to attach, which is durable against abrasion, and belt is prevented from eccentric run. CONSTITUTION:A rotary body 20 is installed below a dropping path for a transport material released from a conveyor belt 11, situated upstream. The rotary body 20 has a drum 21 fitted with a shaft, and a number of projecting pieces 22 are provided on the outer surface of this drum 21 at a certain spacing in the drum axial direction, and the spaces between the projecting pieces 22 are allowed to work as sumps for the material, wherein the shaft is borne by dollies 25, 26 through bearings 27, 28. The rotary body 20 is rotated by a motor 29 fitted with a reduction gear and is movable fore and aft by power cylinders 31, 32 connected with the dollies. A chute is thereby precluded from wear, and attachment of the material is precluded. Even with alteration of the sort of material, eccentric run of a downstream conveyor can be prevented by changing the position of the rotary body.
