ルリツプ8の車内側面に折れ皺が生じ易く、これ
が前記シール線と交差したときには、シール線の
中断によるシール力の低下を招く問題があつた。

ールリツプの下部両側の角部が前記嵌着部の肩部
に接当するよう構成したものであり、これを前記
ボデイフランジの曲線状コーナー部分又はアーチ
状部分に取付けた場合には、ドア側シールリツプ
の外面が嵌着部の肩部と接当して車内側への倒れ
を阻止すると共に、高さ方向の潰れによるシール
力の低下を防止し、シール線の位置およびシール
面圧を適正に維持してシール性能を高め得るとい
うすぐれた効果を発揮する。
