PRIOR TECHNOLOGY The construction of the above-mentioned waterproof sheets is carried out by stacking long unit waterproof sheets manufactured to a predetermined width and joining them together at their side edges, or by separately attaching them to each other. By stacking and joining band-shaped joining waterproof sheets made of the same material onto the butt joints of adjacent unit waterproof sheets, a continuous waterproof layer is formed over a wide area.

There are two methods for joining such tarpaulin sheets: one is to weld the sheets together using a solvent-based adhesive, and the other is to use thermal fusion, which involves melting a portion of the tarpaulin sheet itself using heating means and joining the sheets together. It has been adopted.

No matter which joining method is used,
When installing a waterproof sheet over a large area,
When such joining is performed manually, not only does it take a great deal of time and effort, but even with a high degree of skill, there are likely to be defective joints due to incomplete welding and fusion. For this reason, various bonding devices have recently been proposed for automatically or semi-automatically performing the bonding work.

Problems that the invention aims to solve However, in the case of these conventional proposals, the equipment is quite large and expensive, lacks lightness, and is unsuitable for constructing tarpaulins in relatively small areas. However, in the case of relatively light products such as the one shown in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 47-38606, it is not only difficult to operate and work, but also does not necessarily provide a stable and reliable sealing condition. There were some difficulties, such as difficulty in achieving the bonding of the two.

Means for Solving the Problems For this purpose, the present invention uses a manual push-type trolley to supply adhesive to the application nozzle.
This is done by using the siphon principle, eliminating the need for forced feeding means such as pumps, and ensuring a reliable bond by immediately pressing the joint of the waterproof sheet by pushing the cart after applying the adhesive. The main feature is that it is made as follows.

That is, this invention is based on a manual pushing cart equipped with a pushing handle on the upper surface and at least one pressure roll on the lower surface, and a method for joining waterproof sheets that are installed under the front of the cart and are to be joined to each other. an adhesive application nozzle that is inserted between the parts, and an adhesive tank that is made of a crushable and deformable soft resin container that is removably held in a tank holder on the trolley and has a releasable sealing cap at the upper end opening. , an upper end of a suction pipe that passes through the cap of the tank and whose lower end reaches the inner bottom of the tank is connected to a feeding tube that is connected in communication with the coating nozzle, and is interposed in the adhesive feeding path by the tube, and It has a valve that can open and close the channel and adjust the degree of opening, and the adhesive can be automatically fed from the tank to the application nozzle using the siphon principle based on the phase difference between the heights and lows. The gist of the present invention is to provide a simple joining device for waterproof sheets, which is characterized by the following.

Function When joining the waterproof sheets, first, open the valve slightly in advance and crush the circumference of the container of the adhesive tank, thereby feeding the required amount of adhesive into the supply tube. Close the valve once. Then, with the trolley set in place, loosen the cap of the adhesive tank to allow replacement air to flow in freely, open the valve to the specified opening, and move the trolley along the joint of the waterproof sheet at a specified speed. push forward As a result, the adhesive that is continuously discharged from the nozzle according to the siphon principle is applied between the joints of the waterproof sheets, and then immediately pressed with the required pressure by the pressing roller, thereby achieving the desired joining.

In addition, as the waterproof sheets S1 and S2, a soft polyvinyl chloride sheet with a thickness of about 1.0 to 2.0 mm is most commonly used, but other materials such as polyethylene,
In addition to soft synthetic resin sheets such as polypropylene,
Non-vulcanized rubber sheets, rubber asphalt sheets, etc. may also be used. In addition, the adhesive used for these connections is selected depending on the material of the waterproof sheet, but in the case of a vinyl chloride waterproof sheet, for example, tetrahydrofuran, or a small amount of vinyl chloride resin dissolved in it, is used. It is preferred and common to use solvent-based adhesives such as those described above. Depending on the type of waterproof sheet, various solvent-based adhesives, epoxy-based, urethane-based, rubber-based adhesives, etc. may also be used.

The joining device of the embodiment is mainly used for joining the first and second waterproof sheets S1 and S2 by overlapping their edges with each other, as shown in FIG. Before joining, the cap 15 of the adhesive tank 14 is closed and the circumference of the container 14a is pressed inward by hand. At this time, the adhesive in the tank is introduced into the feed tube 17 in a predetermined amount by setting the valve 18 to a required opening degree. Then, loosen cap 15 slightly and
Once replacement air can be introduced into the chamber 4, the valve 18 is closed, and preparation for the joining operation is completed.

After completing this preparation, place the trolley 1 in a predetermined position,
As shown in FIG. 1, the nozzle 8 is covered with a waterproof sheet S1,
It is placed in an inserted state between the joints of S2. Then, the valve 18 is opened to a predetermined opening degree. Then, the adhesive in the tank 14 flows down inside the tube 17 in the direction of the nozzle 8 according to the siphon principle based on the height phase difference between the set positions of the tank 14 and the nozzle 8, and is continuously discharged from the nozzle 8. It is dispensed in small amounts. After confirming this discharge, the cart 1 is manually pushed along the joint edge of the waterproof sheet at a speed corresponding to the amount of adhesive discharged. Then, the adhesive discharged from the nozzle 8
As a result of the passage of the bonded edges, the two bonded edges are overlapped again, and the bonded edges are spread between the two bonded edges, and then pressed down from above multiple times in a stepwise manner with presser rolls 2, 3, 4, and 5. By this, both joining edges are tightly joined in a reliable sealing state. In this way, by running the trolley 1, the waterproof sheet S
1 and S2 are performed continuously.

Effects of the invention As mentioned above, the waterproof sheet joining device according to the invention is manually operated by attaching a pushing handle to the trolley, thereby eliminating the need for a drive device for running the trolley, and In addition, the adhesive can be automatically fed from the adhesive tank to the application nozzle using the siphon principle based on the phase difference between the heights of the set positions. No similar equipment is required. Therefore, it has an extremely simple structure, and can be manufactured as a sufficiently small, lightweight, and inexpensive product that can be carried with one hand, and is lightweight enough to be easily used, and is free from malfunctions. It can be made highly durable and less likely to cause trouble.

In addition, as described above, by pushing the cart while discharging adhesive from the nozzle, the pressure rollers equipped on the cart immediately press the joint edge of the waterproof sheet coated with adhesive from above.
In addition to achieving reliable bonding, interruptions in the process of bonding can be easily and freely performed by closing the valve and stopping the supply of adhesive, and the process can be resumed without any problems. The process can be easily carried out, and it can be put to practical use as a convenient joining device with excellent operability and workability.
