Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the screen for projection which exhibits good optical characteristics. CONSTITUTION:This screen for projection is formed by laminating a base material 1, a transparent synthetic resin layer 2 and a transparent protective layer 3 in this order. Fine flaws exiling on aluminum foil 4 are transferred and formed to the rear surface of the transparent synthetic resin layer 2 and aluminum is deposited by evaporation on the flawed surface to form a vapor deposited aluminum layer 5 between the transparent synthetic resin layer 2 and the base material 1. Ruggedness 6 is formed on the surface of the transparent protective layer 3.

A projection screen in which a base material 1, a transparent synthetic resin layer 2 and a transparent protective layer 3 are laminated in this order, and fine scratches existing on the aluminum foil 4 are formed on the lower surface of the transparent synthetic resin layer 2. That the aluminum vapor deposition layer 5 was formed between the transparent synthetic resin layer 2 and the base material 1 by transferring aluminum to the scratched surface and forming the unevenness 6 on the surface of the transparent protective layer 3. The present invention relates to a characteristic projection screen.

[Function] The aluminum foil 4 is attached to the screen according to the present invention because the aluminum vapor deposition layer 5 is formed on the lower surface of the synthetic resin layer 2 by transferring and forming fine scratches existing on the aluminum foil 4. Advantages of the screen, that is, good optical characteristics of the aluminum foil 4 can be obtained, and since the aluminum foil 4 itself does not exist, it can be used as a roll-up type screen.

First, as shown in FIG. 5, an ultraviolet curable resin as a transparent synthetic resin layer 2 is applied to an aluminum foil 4, and a matte film is formed as a transparent protective layer 3 on the surface of the resin as shown in FIG. (Roughened film having irregularities 6) is attached. The reason why the matte film is used instead of the mirror surface film is to eliminate so-called glare on the screen.

Then, by irradiating ultraviolet rays to cure the ultraviolet curable resin and demolding, a resin body 8 as shown in FIG. 7 is molded. The surface condition of the aluminum foil 4 is directly transferred and formed on the lower surface of the resin body 8, that is, the lower surface of the transparent synthetic resin layer 2. That is, the surface of the aluminum foil 4 has two kinds of fine scratches (concavities and convexities) of several μm (depth) generated when the aluminum foil 4 is rolled and formed. These two kinds of fine scratches (irregularities) are so-called hair lines that occur in the length direction of the aluminum foil 4 when the aluminum foil 4 is formed by rolling, and scratches that occur in a state orthogonal to the hair lines. Therefore, the scratches 10 on which the hair lines are transferred and the fine scratches 9 orthogonal to the scratches 10 are also formed on the lower surface of the transparent synthetic resin layer 2.

In this embodiment, as described above, since fine scratches (unevenness) similar to those existing on the aluminum foil 4 are formed on the lower surface of the transparent synthetic resin layer 2, an aluminum foil screen is provided. Then, in the same way, the directivity in the horizontal and vertical directions is appropriate, that is, the directivity that the horizontal diffusivity is wide and the vertical diffusivity is narrow is exhibited, and the resolution is excellent. The screen for projection has a characteristic.
