Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a repayment processing performance by adjusting the carrier output of a repayment carrier path according to the coin repayment processing amount and repaying coins at the optimum repayment carrier speed. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 31 controls each circuit according to the program stored in a ROM 32, and stores the control data in a RAM 33 to read freely. When repaying a number of coins at the repayment processing, the CPU 31 adjusts the carrier output of a temporary holding belt 23 to a gentle carrier output suitable for the repayment of a number of coins. On the other hand, when repaying a small number of coins, it adjusts the carrier output of the temporary holding belt 23 suitable for the repayment of a small number of coins. The CPU 1 controls the coin processing state based on the detection signals of coin detection sensors S1 to S3 provided on each internal coin carrier path and each location letting in and out the coin. Thus, relatively speedy carrier enables an efficient repayment processing.

In this return process, if a large number of coins are returned in a lump, it is easy for a coin jam to occur due to a locking phenomenon between coins.
Low-speed transportation is set in consideration of the return processing of this large number of coins. However, even with a small number of coins that can be processed at high speed in such low-speed transfer, they are transferred at low speed,
Generally, the return processing time was long and inefficient. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a coin processing machine with a return output adjusting function, which has a high return processing efficiency of coins and can be returned at an optimal conveying speed according to the number of returned coins.

FIG. 2 is a coin processing machine 1 with a return output adjusting function.
1 shows a block diagram of a control circuit of the CPU 1, and
Each circuit device is controlled according to the program stored in No. 2, and the control data is stored in the RAM 33 so that it can be read. By the way, when returning a large number of coins during the coin return process, the CPU 31 adjusts the conveyance output of the temporary storage belt 23 to a gentle conveyance output suitable for the return of a large number of coins, and conversely When returning coins, the transfer output of the temporary storage belt 23 is adjusted to a high-speed transfer output suitable for returning a small number of coins, and a return processing is performed with a variable speed transfer function suitable for the return processing amount of coins. It is improving efficiency. Further, the CPU 31 controls and manages the processing state of the coins based on the detection signals of the coin detection sensors S1 ... Equipped at the respective coin transport paths and the positions where coins are put in and taken out, and the return system detection sensor S2 is During the return processing, the presence or absence of coins conveyed one by one on the return conveyor belt 25 is detected, and the temporary storage detection sensor S3 further detects the coins guided to the temporary storage section 20. The monitoring timer T measures the light-shielding time of the above-mentioned return system detection sensor S2, the CPU 31 obtains the coin return processing state based on this light-shielding time, and manages the drive output time of the temporary storage belt 23 corresponding to this. To do. The recovery drive motor M1 drives the temporary storage belt 23 so that it can rotate forward and backward and at a variable speed, and also continuously and intermittently drives the belt 23 based on a control signal from the CPU 31. The return drive motor M2 is used for the return conveyor belt 2
5 is driven in the normal direction at a constant speed.

The return processing operation of the coin processing machine 11 having the return output adjusting function configured as described above will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG. Now, when coins are deposited into the deposit / withdrawal port 13, coins C ... Are taken in one by one through the feeder 17 and are identified at the position of the discrimination section 18 as shown by the solid line in FIG. When false discrimination is performed and a false coin is detected at this time, the false coin is transferred through the individual transport path 19 and the return transport belt 25 as shown by the broken line in FIG.
Return processing to step 3 (steps n1 to n2). On the other hand, in the case of true coins, the number of received coins is counted, the coins are temporarily stored in the temporary storage unit 20, it is confirmed that there is no deposit cancellation signal, and the coins are collectively collected in the collection safe 24 ( Steps n3 to n8). However, when a deposit cancellation signal is input, when the number of deposits stored in the temporary storage unit 20 is small, for example, 20 or less, there is no risk of coin jams even when transported at high speed, so the temporary storage belt Two
3 is continuously rotated twice to guide the return transport belt 25 from above the belt 23 and return it to the deposit / withdrawal port 13 (steps n9 to n10). In addition, when the number of deposits stored at the time of cancellation of deposit is about 20 to 50, which is a medium amount,
The coins to be returned are dispersed and transported from the temporary storage unit 20 to the extent that coin jamming can be avoided. For example, by intermittently rotating the temporary storage belt 23 by 1/3 rotation,
It is guided to the return conveyor belt 25 in three steps while being monitored so that the coins are smoothly delivered one by one, and the coins are returned to the deposit / withdrawal port 13 one by one via the return conveyor belt 25 (step n11-). n15). Furthermore, when the number of deposits stored at the time of the deposit cancellation is large, such as 50 or more, since it is considerably large, these coins to be returned are dispersed and transported so that the jam of coins can be sufficiently avoided. For example, the temporary storage belt 23 is intermittently rotated by ⅕ rotations and guided to the return transport belt 25 in five times while being monitored so as to be smoothly fed out by a fixed amount, and is fed through the return transport belt 25. The coins are returned to the deposit / withdrawal port 13 one by one (steps n16 to n19).

As described above, a large number of coins can be stably conveyed in a low output conveying state in which coin jamming is avoided, and a small number of coins can be conveyed relatively quickly and efficiently returned in a short time.
