Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner installed elevator enabling the drain of water without stopping the elevator and preventing the immersion of water without opening a hole in a pit by providing a drainage pump connected to a drain pipe and started/stopped by the signal output of the level sensor of a pit drain tank. CONSTITUTION:A pit drain tank 3 provided with level sensors 2, 2 for detecting the upper and lower limit of the water level is installed in a pit 1 in an elevating path, and drain pipe 5 is provided at the lowest floor ceiling part 4 of a building above the pit 1. A drainage pump 6 is provided at the intermediate part of the drain pipe 5, and the tip of the drain pipe 5 is connected to a scupper 7. The output of the level sensor 2 is inputted into the drive control device of the drainage pump 6 so as to start/stop the drainage pump 6 according to the sensor output signal.
