PURPOSE:To keep a stable paper feed regardless of a change in a printer use environment to always maintain a constantly high printing quality by providing a thermal deformation preventive slide mechanism. CONSTITUTION:One end of a paper guide 1 for guiding printing paper 2 fed in an arrow direction is fixed to a device base 3 by fixing screws 4 at two points, and the other end thereof is provided with slide grooves 5 at two points. A slide holding plate 6 for holding the other end of the paper guide 1 is fixed to the device base 3 by fixing screws 7 at two points. In addition, slide parts 8 of the holding plate 6 having a dimension allowing a gap 9 in a Z-axis direction (the thick direction of the paper guide 1) are inserted to the slide grooves 5 with spaces 10 in X- and Y-axis directions, thereby holding the other end of the paper guide 1.
