Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the rate of impregnation of a aromatic material and give the deforming property to an ornament by compacting a plurality of chips of metal extending longitudinally into a predetermined shape to form a porous body, and impregnating empty pores thereof with the aromatic material. CONSTITUTION:A wire rod is cut of to about 2-10mm long chips 1a. After the chips 1a are cast into a mold to be compacted into a plate-like shape by pressure, they are sequentially laminated in planes nearly parallel to the bottom surface of the mold to be compacted under such a condition. Next, they are sintered and coined in the mold. Thus, finally a porous body having 30-80% of the rate of vacancy is formed to be impregnated and accumulated with an aromatic material so that the sintered body can hold an aromatic property for a long time. Also, the chips 1a are arranged with a directional property and can be deformed so that they can be applied to an ornament 1 requiring flexibility.

``Problem to be solved by the invention'' However, in conventional aromatic ornaments, the fine grains are sintered, so the pores between the fine grains may stick together inside and not communicate with the surface. The aromatic material cannot be impregnated into the internal pores between the fine particles, and the impregnation rate of the aromatic material decreases. In particular, in a sintered body in which fine grains are sintered, the fine grains are arranged close to each other, so the ratio of the volume of pores to the total volume, that is,
The porosity cannot be increased too much, and when impregnated with an η-tolerant material, it is difficult to improve the impregnation rate, and the aromatic properties cannot be maintained for a long period of time.

Furthermore, in conventional fragrant ornaments, fine stainless steel particles are arranged isotropically, making the fragrant ornament itself difficult to deform. Therefore, it is difficult to apply conventional aromatic ornaments to watch straps, bracelets, etc., which require some degree of flexibility.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and it is possible to form pores that communicate from the inside to the outside, and to have a sufficiently large porosity to be impregnated with an aromatic material. An object of the present invention is to provide an aromatic ornament that can increase the impregnation rate of an aromatic material and can be deformed in a specific direction in response to an external force.

"Means for Solving the Problems" In the aromatic ornament of the present invention, a large number of chips made of metal and extending in the longitudinal direction are pressed into a predetermined shape to form a porous body, and the porous body The pores are impregnated with an aromatic material.

"Function" According to the aromatic ornament of the present invention, since the chips are deformed by press molding and have a flat shape extending in the longitudinal direction, holes are connected from the inside toward the surface along the plurality of chips. The probability of getting through will be greatly improved. Therefore, when impregnated with an aromatic material, even the internal pores can be impregnated with the aromatic material, and the aroma can be efficiently released to the outside.

In addition, since the chips are deformed by press forming into a flat shape that extends in the longitudinal direction, many pores are formed along the chips, and the porosity is lower than that in the conventional case where fine particles are compacted. As a result, the porosity can be greatly increased, and the impregnation rate of aromatic materials can be greatly improved.
Aromatic properties can be maintained for a long period of time.

Furthermore, if the chips are compacted to form a thin porous body, the chips extending in the longitudinal direction are stacked in a uniform direction and substantially in the same plane. Therefore, when a load is applied to such a thin aromatic ornament, the depths are curved within the laminated plane, and the porous body itself can be deformed in a curved manner.

According to the aromatic ornament of this example, since the aromatic ornament is obtained by compacting a large number of chips 1a extending in the longitudinal direction, a unique diffused reflection due to the shape of the chips 1a is produced, and a unique aesthetic quality is produced. It will have the following. On the other hand, the fragrance emitted from the aromatic material can provide a pleasant feeling to the wearer and those around him.

The fragrant ornament of this example has a shape in which the chips 1a extend in the longitudinal direction, and these chips 1a are stacked and pressed together, so that there is communication from the surface to the inside along the chips 1A. pores are formed, allowing the aromatic material to be impregnated into the interior. Therefore, the fragrance from the aromatic material impregnated into the pores can be efficiently diffused to the outside from the pores, resulting in an extremely highly fragrant fragrant ornament.

Here, in the porous body formed by each of the above-mentioned steps, the porous body can have a porosity of 30% or more, which could not be achieved with conventional sintered fine particles, and aromatic materials. It becomes possible to impregnate a large amount of aromatic substances and maintain aromatic properties for a long time.

According to the aromatic ornament of this embodiment, since the chips 1a have a shape extending in the longitudinal direction, the chips 1a are pressed while being stacked on a specific plane during compaction molding. Therefore, there is directionality in the arrangement of the chips la, and the ornament can be deformed by curving the plane. As a result, the aromatic ornament of this example can be applied to ornaments that require functional flexibility, such as watch bands and bracelets, which cannot be used with conventional aromatic ornaments.

"Effects of the Invention" As explained above, in the aromatic ornament of the present invention, a large number of chips made of metal and extending in the longitudinal direction are compacted into a predetermined shape to form a porous body, Since the pores of the porous body are impregnated with the aromatic material, it is possible to form pores that communicate from the inside to the outside, and the porosity of the pores to be impregnated with the aromatic material can be reduced. If the size is sufficiently large, the impregnation rate of the aromatic material can be increased, and it can be deformed in a specific direction in response to external force.
