Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a main signal intensity versus disturbing wave ratio by receiving a reflected wave by an angle diversity antenna and applying a reflection signal generated by a signal circuit network of inverted phase to a main signal in an opposite phase. CONSTITUTION:A main radiator 11 of an angle diversity antenna 1 receives both a main signal wave and a reflecting wave and a master receiver 2 receives both the signals. A reflecting wave radiator 12 adjusts the angle of the reflecting wave radiator 12 so as to maximize a reflection signal and sends a reflecting wave reception signal to a reflecting wave receiver 4. A signal inputted to the main receiver 2 and the reflecting wave receiver 4 matches the phase of both the signals of the main receiver 2 and the reflecting wave receiver 4 by using an oscillation signal generated from a common local oscillator 3. The signal from the reflecting wave receiver 4 is subject to phase inversion by a signal circuit network 6 for inverting phase and mixed at a mixer 5 so that the phase is inverted to the reflection signal included in the main reception signal.

The conventional microwave diversity system described above has a method of integrating two waves, the main signal wave and the interference wave, so it is not possible to improve the ratio of the main signal strength to the interference signal strength, and the difference between the polarizations is This method has the disadvantage that it cannot prevent the occurrence of interference, etc. In addition, in marine propagation, it is necessary to design the station so that it is not affected by reflected waves, and there is also the disadvantage that the station must be placed in a geographically disadvantageous location.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be explained. First, the main radiator 11 of the angle diversity antenna shown in FIG. 2 receives both the main signal wave and the reflected wave, and the main receiving device 2 receives both signals. When installing the reflected wave radiator 12, consider the reflected wave direction and install the reflected wave radiator 1 so that the reflected signal is maximized.
2, and sends this reflected wave receiving signal to the reflected wave receiving device 4. The signals input to the main receiver 2 and the reflected wave receiver 4 are aligned in phase by an oscillation signal generated from the common local oscillator 3. The signal from the reflected wave receiver 4 undergoes phase inversion in a signal circuit network 6 with an inverted phase, and is mixed in a mixer 5 so that it has an opposite phase to the reflected signal contained in the main received signal. Here, the control device 8 inputs the results of measuring the levels of the main signal and the interference signal by the main signal phase detector 7 and the reflected wave detector 9, and outputs an inverted phase signal so that the interference signal level is minimized. Controls the circuit network 6. Therefore, only the main signal from which the interfering signal has been canceled is taken out from the output cuff A.

As explained above, the present invention can improve the main signal strength to interference wave ratio by receiving the reflected wave by the angle diversity antenna and adding the reflected signal created by the inverted phase signal network to the main signal in the opposite phase. Therefore, it has the effect of suppressing the effects of interference, etc. Furthermore, even under adverse conditions such as on marine propagation routes, microwave communication is possible even when the station is located in a geographically and economically advantageous location.
