There is a method shown in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 13719/1983 to collect gas leaking from underground at the surface of the earth. This method works well for gases whose specific gravity is lower than air, but cannot collect gases whose specific gravity is higher than air, such as LP gas.

In places where the road surface is hard and highly uneven, if the adhesion to the road surface is not sufficient, a space will be formed between the road surface and the suction port surface, causing air that is not to be detected to be sucked in. Therefore, for example, in order to discover leaks of heavy gases with an air specific gravity of 1.0 or more from LP gas pipes buried underground covered by a hard and uneven road surface such as asphalt, the boring method is used to detect the leakage from the asphalt or other road surface. We are conducting a detection measurement survey by drilling a hole underground for gas suction.

The ground gas sampling device of the present invention includes a gas sampling port main body, a gas inlet provided in the main body, and a triangular shape whose apex faces downward and projects downward from the bottom surface of the main body so as to surround the gas inlet. It is characterized by consisting of an annular elastic body with a shaped cross section.

以下図面に依つて本考案の実施例を説明する。 Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

As shown in the enlarged sectional view of FIG. 2, the gas sampling device 1 of the ground gas sampling device of the present invention includes a gas sampling port body 7, a gas inlet 8 formed in the center of the main body 7, and a gas inlet a recess 9 formed in the center of the lower surface of the main body 7 so as to surround the recess 9;
a filter 10 for closing the filter, a filter retainer 11, an annular groove 12 with a dovetail cross section formed on the outer periphery of the lower surface of the main body 7, the bottom of which is fitted into the annular groove 12, and the top of the filter is inserted from the lower surface of the main body 7. It is formed of an annular elastic body 13 having a hardness of 20 to 40 and a triangular cross section with a top width of 3 mm or less and protruding downward.

Since the ground gas sampling device of the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, the top of the elastic body 13 is in close contact with the road surface, and when the road surface is extremely uneven, the elastic body 13 can be moved by applying a load to the main body 7. The top part collapses, increasing the bottom area and increasing its adhesion to the ground, which has the great advantage of being able to collect leaked gas from underground without wasting it.
