い水圧を受ける位置にある。このため合成樹脂製
管継手の補強手段として、従来は塩化ビニル樹脂
製本体にFRPを捲きつけて補強したものがある
が捲きつけに手間がかかりかつ外観も悪くなると
いう問題がある。また成形時に補強材をインサー
トして成形することも試みられたが形状が複雑で
あるためインサートした補強材の一部が露出した
りして成功しなかつた。

うとするものである。

に金型よりキヤビテイに突出した磁石ピンの先端
が嵌合される凹所を形成し、パンチングメタルで
成形された補強材本体は合成樹脂製継手本体に埋
込まれて補強効果をあげ、インサート成形に際し
てパンチングメタルよりなる補強材本体は樹脂の
流通を妨げることがなく、さらに補強材本体の一
側の通孔は一方の金型のゲートから圧出される樹
脂を内面側に逃がして射出される樹脂に押されて
補強材本体が偏るのを防止し、また補強材本体は
金型の周面数個所からキヤビテイに突出した磁石
ピンに吸着され磁石ピンは補強材本体の凹所に係
合し樹脂の流動によつて補強材本体が移動するの
を防止し補強材本体が樹脂に押されてキヤビテイ
に接触しその一部が露出するようなことがないよ
うにしたものである。

や水圧によつて管継手が損傷し難くなり、しかも
補強によつて管継手の外観がそこなわれることも
ない。さらに管継手の成形に際しては、多数のパ
ンチ孔を有するパンチングメタルで補強材本体を
形成してその内外両面への樹脂の流通をはかると
ともに、キヤビテイのゲートに臨ませて形成した
通孔によつてキヤビテイから流出した樹脂に圧さ
れて補強材本体がキヤビテイに接触するようなこ
とがなく、数個所に形成した凹所が金型の数個所
より突出した磁石ピンに嵌合されるとともに吸着
されるから樹脂の流動によつて補強材本体がキヤ
ビテイ中を移動することがなく補強材本体を管継
手の厚さの中心部に位置させることができる。
