Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a flat wire harness of multilayered structure capable of carrying out interlayer contact easily as well as high density wiring of wires by preparing a constitution where repeating circuit boards are arranged in at leat two lines on one insulation sheet and then wiring is carried out. CONSTITUTION:On a wiring base 20 a plurality of repeating circuit board groups 2A, 2A', 2A,... and 2B, 2B', 2B,... are aranged in two lines A and B. Between the lines A and B a bending back marging (d) is left at a proper space and the repeating circuit plates 2A and 2B, 2A' and 2B',... are alternately arranged respectively to prevent overrapping caused by the bending back from generating. With this arrangement, such a wire harness is obtained as having a high wiring density of wires and a multilayered structure capable of carrying out interlayer contact easily.

Current wire harnesses have a configuration in which multiple branch wires are provided in a branched manner to a main wire section in which a large number of electric wires are bundled together by wrapping tape, etc., and the shape is complex, making it difficult to automate manufacturing. Due to the increase in the number of in-vehicle electrical components, they have become bulky and bulky, and it takes a great deal of labor and time to assemble them into the vehicle, which is one of the factors that hinders improvements in automobile productivity.

In the flat wire harness with the structure shown in Fig. 4, there is only space for wiring the electric wires 7 on the relay circuit boards 2, 2', etc. on one harness. If the number of locations (displacement terminal section 4b) increases, the slot 4C will be blocked due to wires overlapping each other or wires passing over the pressure terminal section, making the wiring space narrower and making wiring more difficult. High-density wiring becomes impossible.
