Abstract

PURPOSE:To bring the drape into contact closely with a mirror body part and an arm part by providing at least one piece of air exhaust port for exhausting air contained in the drape to the outside, and operating an exhaust means connected to the air exhaust port in the course of surgical operation. CONSTITUTION:In a bag-like drape 1 consisting of an extremely thin and flexible transparent sheet, in a state that an opening end 3 is enlarged, the part which passes through a mirror body instruction arm 16 from a mirror body part 17 and reaches a light source arm 15 is contained therein, eyepiece fitting parts 4, 4 are fitted to an eyepiece lens barrel, respectively. its end part is bound with a string 12 and fixed, and thereafter, detached in a position of a scored line 6 by drawing a tip part 4', and subsequently, an objective lens cap 8 is fitted and attached to an objective lens, and in the end, the opening end 3 is bound to the light source arm 15 by using a string 11, and the outside is held in a sterilized state. Next, when an air exhaust port 10 of the drape l is connected to an air sucking machine 19 through a suction pipe 18, and operated, air in the drape 1 is exhausted to the outside. Since the inside of the drape 1 is substantially in an airtight state, the drape 1 becomes deflated and comes into contact closely with the mirror body part and the arm part.

By the way, with such conventional fixation methods, parts of the drape other than those bound with rubber or strings may loosen or swell due to heat from lamps, etc. Especially in movable parts, moving the mirror or arm during surgery may cause the drape to loosen. It remained swollen and obstructed the caster's field of vision. Furthermore, if the tube remains inflated, it may come in contact with a scalpel or the like and be incised, making it impossible to maintain a sterile condition and even endangering the patient. Furthermore, fixing the drape at multiple locations with strings to remove slack etc. not only takes time but also impairs operability.

In Fig. 1, 1 is a bag-shaped drape made of an ultra-thin and flexible transparent sheet, 2 is the joining edge of the front and back sheets, 3 is the opening end, 4 is the eyepiece attachment part, and 5 is the side view. Attachment of accessories used when attaching a mirror, TV camera, etc. to the mirror body is made easy by pulling the tips of section 4 and 6 and 7, respectively. 8 is a stretchable objective lens cap, 9 is a transparent plastic plate removably fitted to the objective lens cap 8, and IO is connected to an air suction machine to be described later. The air outlets +1, 12 and 13 are respectively open end 3. Eyepiece attachment is welded to part 4, and accessory attachment is welded to part 5, and the opening end 3. The eyepiece attachment part 4 and the accessory attachment part 5 are strings used to bring the eyepiece attachment part 4 and accessory attachment part 5 into close contact with the surgical microscope arm, eyepiece tube and accessories, respectively.

With the opening end 3 of the drape I widened, the part from the mirror body part 17 to the light source arm 15 via the mirror body support arm 6 is inserted into the drape I, and the parts 4 and 4 are connected to each other for attaching the eyepiece. This is cut off at the perforation 6 by pulling the rear tip 4-, which is fitted into a spectacle tube and fixed by tying its end with a string 12.Next, the objective lens cap 8 is fitted onto the objective lens, and finally, Connect the open end 3 to the light source arm 15 using the string 11
to keep the exterior sterile. In this case, parts 5, 5 for attaching accessories are folded and fixed to the drape 1 with tape or the like, but when used, the parts 5 for attaching the eyepiece are handled in the same way as part 4. Next, the air outlet 10 of the drape 1 is connected to an air suction machine 19 via a suction pipe 8. Thus, if the air suction device 19 is operated in this state, the air within the drape 1 will be exhausted to the outside. Since the interior of the drape 1 is substantially airtight, when the air is discharged as described above, the internal pressure decreases, and as a result, the drape 1 is brought into close contact with the mirror body and the arm. Therefore, the field of view is hardly obstructed by the drape 1, and since only the end of the drape 1 is fixed to the surgical microscope, operability is not impaired.

Note that if the drape 1 is too close, there is a risk that the operability will be slightly impaired, but in that case, the output of the air suction machine 19 can be adjusted to adjust the amount of drape 1 to optimize the operability. It can be kept in this condition.

In this embodiment, the strings 11, 12 and 13 as in the first embodiment are not used, and as shown in FIG. Of course, an annular rubber 20 is also fixed to the middle part, and as shown in FIG. be.

Then, as in the first embodiment, by connecting the air outlet 10 to the air suction machine 19 via the suction pipe 18 and operating the air suction machine 19, the drape 1 is deflated and the mirror body and arm parts are I try to stay close to them.

Therefore, in the case of this embodiment, since the annular rubber 20 is used to fix the drape 1, the trouble of tying it with strings is saved, and the elasticity of the rubber 20 impairs the operability of the surgical microscope, unlike in the case of strings. There is also the advantage of not being able to

FIG. 5 is a plan view of the third embodiment, which is branched, and each tip of the core portion is attached to the eyepiece lens section 4. The accessories are attached by gluing the intake pipe 21, which extends near the joining edge 2 at the approximate center of the part 5 and the drape I, and whose tip end protrudes from the open end 3, to the inner surface of the drape 1. , each tip of the pillar portion serves as an intake port 22, and the tip of the trunk portion serves as an air outlet 10.

Therefore, if this embodiment is attached to a surgical microscope, the air outlet IO is connected to the air suction machine 19 via the suction pipe 18, and the air suction machine 19 is operated, as in the first embodiment.
Even without using rubber or strings, the eyepiece mounting section 4 and the accessory mounting section 5 can be fixed to the eyepiece tube and accessories, respectively, and kept in an airtight state, and the drape L can be deflated and the lens body section and the arm. However, the open end 3 needs to be fixed to the light source arm using a string 11 or an annular rubber to maintain an airtight state.

FIG. 6 is a plan view of the fourth embodiment, in which one end of each eyepiece is attached to the section 4. The accessories are attached by gluing to the inner surface of the drape 1 a plurality of intake pipes 23 extending near the joining edge 2 at the approximate center of the portion 5 and the drape I and protruding from each other end or the open end 3. One end of each of the above serves as an intake port 24, and each of the other ends serves as an air outlet 10.
