Abstract

PURPOSE:To store more than a prescribed number of bills which tend to fold or round out and ensure the restoring space of a pressing plate by providing a compressive plate which presses a sheet upper part downwards, and a compressive plate driving means which operates the compressive plate when the pressing plate is restored. CONSTITUTION:A bill 1 enters a case 2 from the collecting port 3 in the top of the case 2 and is positioned on a partition plate 6 provided symmetrically on both the sides of the case 2, and when the bill 1 gather to a degree, a pressing plate 7 rises to retract the bills to a position which is out of lowering range. Next, when the partition plate 6 loaded with bills lowers and goes to a prescribed position, the partition plate 6 opens to drop the notes. After the completion of this process, the compressive plate 11 at the upmost position in the case 2 lowers, so that is presses the bills. Therefore, round-out notes are compressed to ensure a space for restoring the pressing plate 7. At the same time, the pressing plate 7 rises and goes above the notes gathered on the partition plate 6 to restore the bills in a pressed condition. Then, after the pressing plate 7 gets ready to press the bill 1, the compressive plate 11 rises and returns to the upmost position in the case 2.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Summary] A case that has a sheet collection port at the top and a sheet feedout port at the bottom and can store sheets in a stacked state inside, and a case that has a sheet collection port at the bottom and a sheet bottom to be collected in the case. a partition plate that holds the side of the sheet; a push plate that presses the top of the sheet collected in the case; the partition plate is opened to allow the sheet to fall downwards in the case; a partition plate driving means that moves the partition plate upward to a position where it can hold the lower side of the newly collected sheet;
A circulating sheet storage box comprising a push plate driving means for restoring the push plate to a position for pressing newly collected sheets when there are no more sheets to press; A compression plate that compresses the upper part of the sheet downward, with the aim of accommodating a predetermined number or more of banknotes (sheets) that are swollen like circulation tickets, while also ensuring sufficient recovery space for the push plate. The circulating sheet storage box is provided with a compression plate driving means for operating the compression plate at least when the pushing plate is restored.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] According to the conventional circulating banknote (sheet) storage box as described above, when the push plate 7 is restored in step D, a recovery space S is required above the dropped banknote. The volume of collected banknotes is determined by this condition. For example, if the volume of collected banknotes is required to be 200mm+ (height H), this volume can accommodate approximately 2000 government tickets, and it will not swell like folded banknotes or circulation tickets. For banknotes, a height of about 250 mm is required for the same number of bills.
If this continues, the push plate 7 will not be able to be restored. Furthermore, in order to keep the volume of collected banknotes to a height of about 200 mm, the number of collected banknotes had to be reduced.

According to the present invention, while the evacuated pushing plate (7) rises and comes above the sheet (1) accumulated on the partition plate (6) and returns to the state of pressing the sheet, the partition plate Since the sheets stacked on top are compressed downward, even banknotes (sheets) with folds or bulging banknotes (sheets) like circulation tickets can be stored in a predetermined volume in the same way as official tickets. A certain number of banknotes (sheets) can be accommodated in the space,
Therefore, a sufficient recovery space for the push plate can be secured.

As shown in FIG. 3, when the claw 35a of the stopper 35 is engaged with the shaft 37, the lever 36 is held in a predetermined position, and the push plate 7 is maintained in a pressed state (horizontal position). Note that the fulcrum 34 is also restricted to move vertically along the guide 39. In the evacuation operation, as shown in FIG. 3(C), the solenoid 40 (10

comes into contact with a stopper (not shown) on the case side, and the metal fitting 3
2 is raised, the lever 33 and the push plate 7 move in the direction opposite to the arrow, and the claw 35a of the stopper 35 engages with the shaft 37, putting the lever 33 and the push plate 7 in a pressed state (horizontal position).
to lock. The vertical movement of the push plate 7 is controlled by a motor 30 (7a
> and Bell) 31. Next, the push plate 7 is lowered to a predetermined position to further press down the banknote 1 and secure sufficient space for the partition plate 6 to recover.

On the other hand, the metal fitting 22 (belt 21) further rises, albeit slightly. When it rises, the protruding portion 6b provided on the partition plate 6 moves towards the fixed guide 2b (fourth) fixed to the upper part of the case.
(shown by broken lines in Figure (b)) to bring the partition plate 6 into a horizontal position. This operation causes another protrusion 6c of the partition plate 6 to overcome the lever 26 which is biased in the direction opposite to the arrow by a torsion spring (not shown), and the partition plate 6 is locked in the horizontal position by this lever 26.

As explained above, according to the present invention, at least the retracted push plate (7) rises, comes above the sheets (1) accumulated on the partition plate (6), and presses the sheets. During recovery, the sheets stacked on the partition plate are compressed downward, resulting in folded banknotes (sheets) or banknotes (sheets) bulging like circulation tickets.
However, like the official ticket, a predetermined number of banknotes (sheets) can be accommodated in a predetermined volume of storage space, and therefore sufficient space can be secured for restoring the push plate. Therefore, the volume that can accommodate banknotes (sheets) can be substantially increased.
