[Detailed explanation of the invention] Industrial application fields Recently, it has been encouraged to get familiar with the soil and grow greenery for health reasons, but land for this purpose is gradually becoming scarcer around cities, especially for people living in condominiums. In order to enjoy green space and enjoy green space, we have to be satisfied with growing plants in flower pots such as planters, and in order to supply seedlings to meet the demand for plants, we need many flower pots. This trend is expected to continue in the future.

Conventional technology In the past, flower pots were generally pottery, especially round unglazed pots, and decorative pots were made of glazed pottery that was fired at a higher temperature and was more similar to porcelain than the unglazed pots. However, both are heavy,
Not only is it sensitive to impact and inconvenient to handle,
In particular, cosmetic pots are relatively expensive and lack ventilation.

On the other hand, with the spread of petroleum products, plastic products such as vinyl have become common for flower pots, and plastic products such as vinyl have become common for flower pots. There is.

Therefore, in these flower pots, including the above-mentioned decorative pots, conditions that are unfavorable for plants include root rot due to standing water, which will be described later, and growth of above-ground plants due to lack of root development due to lack of air to the roots. Problems such as interference cannot be avoided.

In general, green-leaved plants generate the organic matter necessary for growth through the assimilation of carbon dioxide absorbed through their leaves by sunlight, but in order for these plants to grow, they must absorb water and fertilizer through their roots, and You must also breathe air. Therefore, in conventional flowerpots, it is common to have a round hole in the center of the bottom as a ventilation hole, as shown in Figure 2.As an improvement to this, as shown in Figure 3, Attempts have also been made to provide ventilation holes not only in the bottom but also in the peripheral wall.

However, these conventional ventilation holes have the drawback that they do not provide sufficient ventilation, especially in cosmetic pots and plastic pots, and create poor conditions for plant growth.

Problems that the invention aims to solve For potted plants, irrigation water penetrates through the pores of the soil through capillary action and is absorbed into the soil, but not all of it is absorbed, and most of the remaining water is absorbed into the bottom of the pot or the soil. Although it is discharged from the vents in the surrounding wall, a portion of the water remains at the bottom of the pot and the lower part of the surrounding wall as a thin continuous film of several tens to hundreds of microns due to its surface tension. This stagnant water causes the roots to lack oxygen and become suffocated, absorbing only water and increasing the distance between the rooting tissues. It extends spirally downward along the inner side of the peripheral wall, and the inside is hollowed out with few fine roots, resulting in the so-called looping phenomenon (rooting phenomenon), or root rot. Due to this looping phenomenon, the fine roots that become absorption roots do not differentiate, so nutrients are not supplied to the above-ground parts of the plant, and in extreme cases, the looping part presses against the bottom of the pot, causing the spring action to lift the above-ground parts of the plant and cause it to wither. .

If the soil is completely dried to remove this stagnant water, the plants will wither. Also, even if you increase the number of ventilation holes or make them larger, only the areas corresponding to the ventilation holes will dry out locally, but the surface tension of other parts will Furthermore, even if a mesh body is installed at the bottom, the stagnant water remains due to the surface tension between the meshes. Therefore, in order to remove the harmful effects of this stagnant water, it is necessary to remove the stagnant water. It is necessary to suppress the surface tension effect of the membrane.

Embodiment FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the flowerpot 1 according to the present invention viewed diagonally from below, in which a plurality of slit holes 4 extending from the center of the bottom surface 3 to the peripheral wall 2 are bored in a radial manner. In addition, in recent years, soft black pot-shaped flowerpots made from recycled products, which are inexpensive materials that are convenient for selling seedlings, germinating seedlings, and transporting and moving them, have weak bottoms and slits. In order to prevent the soil from spilling out when the slits open, it is better to have the slits in the center of the bottom so that they do not communicate with each other, as shown in Figure 1. However, if a material such as porcelain is used, it is hard and can withstand mechanical strength. Therefore, the slit may communicate at the center.

Effects of the invention When the roots of a potted plant extend downward in a spiral pattern along the peripheral wall of the pot and reach the retained water film attached to the bottom of the pot and the lower part of the peripheral wall, the roots of the potted plant grow downward due to the surface tension of the water film at the contact area. The equilibrium that maintains the flat surface is broken, and the standing water is induced to flow down along the contact area with the roots, and is discharged out of the pot through radial slit holes that cross the flow direction. Therefore, the surface tension of the water film is broken and the standing water can be removed.

This solution prevents stagnant water from accumulating, helping air to breathe into the limited corners of the pot, preventing root rot and looping, and promoting normal root division for potted plants. It has an excellent nurturing effect.

In particular, when pottery or vinyl is used as the pot material, condensation water that tends to form inside the pot is added to the pot as stagnant water due to rises and falls in outside temperature, so these pots are even more effective.
