化装置において、 上記外筒中の平板及び波板担体に、上記空間部
に該当する位置に、切取部を設け、該切取部を設
けた平板及び波板担体の幅方向に沿う巻取りによ
り、上記空間部に該当する位置の非切取部の担体
が巻かれて形成された連結部を介し互いに連結さ
れた複数の触媒担体が形成されたことを特徴とす
る排気ガス浄化装置。 (2) 外筒の長さに略等しい幅の四角形の平板担
体の、上記空間部に該当する位置に、上記幅方向
に沿う一辺の側のみ少なく残して十分大きい面積
の切取部を設けると共に、該切取部を設けた平弁
及び波板担体を、切取られた他辺の側からの巻取
りにより上記外筒の内面に沿う略円筒状に形成さ
れた連結部を介して複数の互いに連結された触媒
担体が形成されたことを特徴とする実用新案登録
