PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of equipment by cutting kneading material without making use of a cutting device, by a method wherein at a stage when kneading operation is completed, the tip side of a reversal conveyor is extended to the next process, the sheetlike kneading material is ruptured by performing reversal driving of a rollback conveyor, transmounted onto the reversal conveyor and taken out to the next process. CONSTITUTION:A sheetlike kneading material Wa discharged through rekneading rolls 11a, 11b is transmounted to a reversal conveyor 14 by conveying the same by a discharge conveyor 13. The kneading material Wa transmounted to the reverseal conveyor 14 is fed onto the rolls 11a, 11b again by a rollback conveyor 19 and the kneading material Wa is kneaded while making the kneaded material Wa sheetlike. At a stage when kneading operation of the kneading material Wa is completed, a tip side 14a of the reversal conveyor 14 is extended to the next process side and reversal driving of a driving motor of the rollback conveyor 19 is performed.
