Claims (1)

【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 加熱ローラと該加熱ローラに圧接しながら回転
する圧着ローラとからなり用紙を挟持搬送する定
着ローラに対し、用紙搬送方向下流側に配設され
た剥離爪を前記定着ローラに接触させて、搬送さ
れる用紙を前記定着ローラの外周面から剥離する
定着ローラの用紙剥離装置において、 前記定着ローラに接触させる先端エツジ部と、
該先端エツジ部よりも用紙搬送方向下流側で前記
定着ローラの軸芯に平行かつ用紙搬送面と交差す
る方向の端面を有し、該端面の前記交差方向中間
部に前記軸芯に平行な凹部が形成された剥離爪
と、 前記用紙搬送面に対し前記先端エツジ部の接触
位置よりも離れた位置で前記用紙搬送面に対向す
る対向面に前記剥離爪の前記端面を交差させて嵌
入し得る開口を有し、該開口の前記軸芯に平行な
用紙搬送方向下流側縁部を前記凹部の掛止部とし
前記端面の一部を前記用紙搬送面から離れる方向
に突出させて前記剥離爪を前記掛止部を介し回動
自在に支持する板状支持部材と、 一端を前記剥離爪に連結し、他端を前記先端エ
ツジ部が前記定着ローラの外周面に接触する方向
に付勢支持されたバネ部材とを備え、 前記剥離爪を前記凹部にて前記板状支持部材に
掛止し、前記バネ部材により前記先端エツジ部を
前記定着ローラの外周面に圧接することで、搬送
される用紙を前記先端エツジ部を介して剥離する
ことを特徴とする定着ローラの用紙剥離装置。
