本発明のいぐさの染色方法は、第1図のように有機酸が

本発明のいぐさの染色方法では、第1図のように有機酸
が溶解された酸性水溶液A中に、少量の鉄を含有する銅
の染色剤Bを入れて加熱すると、銅と有機酸とが化学反
応して発泡し、同水溶液Aが緑色に着色する。その中で
いぐさCを90℃以上で少なくとも十数分間以上加熱す
るので、いぐさCが鮮明な緑色にむらなく染色され、し
かもその緑色は染色剤に含まれる鉄分の定着作用により

(実施例1)

その中に酸化鉄が5%の割合で含有された銅の染色剤B
を15g投入した。次いで前記蒸気管EにボイラーFか
ら蒸気を送り込んで前記水溶液Aを沸騰温度(99,7
℃)に加熱した。そしていぐさ0.5kgが入ったステ
ンレス製の網の容器Gを同水溶液Aに沈めて固定し、い
ぐさCを縦に向けて完全に水溶液A中に浸漬させ、その
状態で同水溶液Aを前記温度に保持して15分間加熱し
たところ、いぐさCは鮮やかな緑色に均一に染色された
。このいぐさCを水洗いして一日間天火で乾燥した。こ
