なる2つの映像信号を同時に再生し得る。

ない隣接トラツク間のクロストークを改善出来る
特長が有り、更に、磁気ヘツド組を構成する磁気
ヘツドのアジマス角を他の方式の磁気ヘツドのア
ジマス角と等しく構成してなる磁気記録再生装置
を提供出来るので、他の方式による記録再生との
互換性を得ることが出来る等の特長が有る。
