Abstract

PURPOSE:To extinguish arc at the time of arc generation, and prevent the burnout of electric parts, by equipping the secondary side of a step-up transformer with a high voltage driving circuit for driving a magnetron, and interposing an incombustible insulating member between electric parts whose potential difference becomes large. CONSTITUTION:Large potential difference exists between terminals 22a, 22b of a substrate 22 and a capacitor 23. Between these electric parts, a sheet 24 composed of, e.g. aramid paper as an incombustible insulating member is interposed. Even when arc is generated between connection terminals 22a, 22b and lead wires 23a, 23b of the capacitor 23, arc distance can be lengthened and the arc can be extinguished, because the sheet 24 as the incombusible insulating member is interposed between them. Thereby the burnout of the capacitor 23 and other electric parts can be prevented, and the sheet 24 itself is not burned.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) By the way, in the microwave oven described above, since the secondary side of the step-up transformer is at a high voltage, there is a risk that electrical components may burn out due to sparks.

That is, for example, if cracks occur in the soldering between the connection terminal 4a and the lead wire 5a of the capacitor 5, sparks will be generated there, and the spark will carbonize the board 4. An arc continues to occur between the capacitor 5 and the lead wire 5a of the capacitor 5,
Then, as the carbonized region expands, the arc extends to the capacitor 5, which has a high potential difference, and the carbonization in the winding bobbin 4 also spreads (the arc is indicated by the symbol A), and as a result, the arc A sequentially moves in the direction of the arrow B. Begins to move. When the arc grows in this way,
In addition to burning out the capacitor, there is a risk that other electrical parts may also burn out, and a countermeasure has been awaited.

(Function) When soldering electrical parts, sparks are generated due to cracks in the parts, and even if this causes an arc to occur between the electrical parts that have a high potential difference, there is no inflammable insulation between the two electrical parts. Since there is a member involved, the arc distance can be extended and the arc extinguished, eliminating the risk of burnout of electrical parts.
This insulating member itself will not burn out. In addition, the configuration is simple, as it only requires an insulating member to be interposed between both electrical components.
