  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ヨークの軸受ケースと十字軸の軸端部との間に
    転動体が配置され、この軸受ケースの開口端を密
    封するシール部材が設けられたユニバーサルジヨ
    イントの密封装置において、 上記十字軸の根元部に圧嵌めされるスリンガー
    と、上記軸受ケースの開口端に取付けられるシー
    ル部材とを備え、このシール部材は、芯金とオイ
    ルシールとからなり、この芯金は、上記軸受ケー
    スの開口端に形成した凹段部に圧嵌めされる圧嵌
    め部と、上記オイルシールを支持する支持部と、
    上記転動体の端面を押える押え部とを有し、上記
    オイルシールは、軸受ケースの内方側に向き上記
    十字軸の軸端部の外周面に摺接する主リツプ部と
    、軸受ケースの外方側に向き上記スリンガーの外
    周面に摺接する補助リツプ部とを有することを特
    徴とするユニバーサルジヨイントの密封装置。
