(Conventional technology) In recent years, in order to deal with track damage due to higher train speeds, increased vehicle weight, and increased transportation volume, concrete sleepers have been developed, as well as so-called elastic fastening devices that elastically fasten rails. It has progressed and is widely put into practical use.

Among the above-mentioned elastic fastening devices, in the double elastic fastening device, a track pad made of an elastic material such as rubber is interposed under the rail, and the rail is elastically pressed from above and below by the track pad and a fastening spring. The track pad is the most important part. That is, the track pad has a cushioning effect due to its own elasticity,
By utilizing the vibration damping effect, it reduces the transmission of dynamic vibrations generated in the rail to the sleeper and trackbed, reducing deterioration such as trackbed subsidence and flow. In addition, the load on a single sleeper is reduced by dispersing the load of the train. Furthermore, it plays many roles such as improving the insulation between the rail and sleepers due to its electrical insulation properties.

Furthermore, in order to enhance the vibration damping effect, the spring constant of the raceway pad can be lowered, but if the spring constant is lowered, the deterioration becomes severe due to an increase in strain. Conventionally, this problem has generally been addressed by increasing the thickness of the raceway pad.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, increasing the wall thickness of the track pad increases lateral shear deformation, making it necessary to strengthen lateral pressure members such as fastening springs. Noise and vibration damage has become a social problem, and the effective use of the vibration damping effect of track pads is attracting attention. It is necessary to change to one with a low spring constant that can follow the deformation. In addition, since the slight deflection of the rail caused by the lateral pressure applied to the rail from the wheels increases, it is necessary to take measures to control this. Therefore, as shown in FIG. In this method, a rubber pad 3 for supporting the tie plate 2 is interposed under the rubber pad 3, which results in a complicated and expensive structure, and requires time and effort for maintenance. 4 is a rail, 5 is a sleeper, 6 is a fastening bolt, and 7 is a screw nail.

(Function) A porous sintered plate-like body having particularly excellent sound-absorbing and vibration-absorbing properties is used as a track pad (for this porous sintered plate-like body, please refer to Patent No. 1218991-Japanese Patent Publication No. 58-52528).
Please refer to the publication No. ), the track pad can absorb the vibrations and noise of the train on the rail without increasing the thickness of the elastic material such as rubber on the track pad to reduce the spring constant. Can be absorbed sufficiently.

Note that the track pad 18 is a porous sintered plate-like body 2.
Although it is conceivable to form the porous sintered plate-like body 20 by itself, the compressive strength is sufficient, but it is brittle because it is a pressure-formed material. Weak against friction. There are problems such as dislike of moisture and humidity and lack of insulation. All of these problems can be solved by wrapping it with a non-conductive elastic material 21 such as rubber or synthetic resin.
