In recent years, telephones using mobile radio devices have become widespread, and one form of usage is that they are commonly used for both portable and fixed telephones. In other words, when a person carries it around, it is used as a portable device with a low power transmitting output of about 0.5 to 1 W, and when used as a stationary device on a tabletop or in a car, a booster is used to increase the transmitting output to about 5 to 20 W. It is often used.

When used as a portable simultaneous reception radio device, transmission and reception are performed only by the radio device 13.
That is, a transmission signal inputted from the high frequency input terminal 1 passes through the excitation section 2, is power amplified by the power amplification section 3, and is sent out to the antenna input/output terminal 6 through the duplexer 4. Further, a received signal is inputted from the antenna input/output terminal 6, passes through the duplexer 4, and is transmitted to the receiving section 5. Note that the excitation section 2 here is an amplification means for making the transmission signal from the high frequency input terminal 1 optimal as an input signal to the power amplification section 3.

That is, the antenna input/output terminal 6 of the radio device 13
When a transmission signal is input from the high frequency input terminal 1 with the booster 14 connected to the input/output terminal 7 of the booster 14, the transmission signal is transmitted to the input/output terminal 7 via the excitation section 2, the power amplification section 3, and the duplexer 4. Then, the signal passes through the circulator 8, is amplified in power by the power amplification section 9, and is sent out to the antenna input/output terminal 12 through the duplexer 10.

Conversely, the received signal enters from the antenna input/output terminal 12, passes through the duplexer 10, is amplified by the RF amplifier 11, is output from the circulator 8 to the input/output terminal 7, and is received via the antenna input/output terminal 6 and the duplexer 4. However, according to the above-mentioned conventional technology, the radio device 13
The transmission signal output from the booster 14 is directly transmitted from the booster 14.
If you try to amplify the power by inputting it to the booster 14, a level higher than necessary may be input to the power amplifying unit 9 because it has been amplified once by the power amplifying unit 3. In such a case, an attenuator or the like is installed on the input side of the booster 14. must be inserted. Furthermore, according to the conventional configuration, the circulator 8 and the duplexer 10 are indispensable, which is a key to cost reduction. In addition, the circulator 8 needs impedance matching with the circuits before and after it, and if matching cannot be achieved, there is a drawback that the amount of isolation between transmission and reception decreases. Note that if a duplexer is used in place of the circulator 8, the problem of impedance matching can be solved, but since a duplexer is more expensive than a circulator, it is difficult to adopt it in terms of cost performance.

As explained above, according to the wireless device of the present invention, a changeover switch is provided before and after the power amplification section inside the portable wireless device, so a booster can be connected to the portable wireless device for use on a table or in a car. When used, the transmission signal can be input directly to the power amplification section inside the booster without passing through the power amplification section inside the portable radio device by switching the changeover switch. Therefore, adjustment using an attenuator or the like is not required when connecting the portable radio to the booster.
