Reference numeral 1 denotes an outer cylinder with an inlet pipe 3 at the top, and a separation plate 2 with a mesh 4 attached to the inner upper part.
Further, an outlet pipe 6 having an inlet near the bottom surface of the separation plate 2 is provided to protrude upward from the bottom of the outer cylinder 1. Further, an oil return pipe 7 is attached to the lower bottom surface of the outer cylinder 1. Note that 8 is oil that has accumulated below the outer cylinder 1. In such a gas collision separation type oil separator, oil (indicated by the black arrow in the figure) and gas (indicated by the white arrow in the figure) flow into the outer cylinder 1 of the oil separator from the inlet pipe 3. The oil collides with the separation plate 2 together with the oil, passes through the swirl hole 5 and the notch hole 9, changes its direction from a downward flow to an upward flow, and exits from the outlet pipe 6. On the other hand, mist-like oil collides with the mesh 4 and separation plate 2 and becomes a large mist, so it cannot flow together with the gas against gravity, and the outer cylinder 1
This oil 8 falls below the oil return pipe 7 and accumulates.
It goes out of the oil separator.

In the gas collision separation type oil separator configured as described above, some of the oil that enters the oil separator from the inlet pipe 3 may adhere to the bottom surface of the separation plate 2 (indicated by a black circle in the figure). The oil flows along the flow of the oil, and becomes oil droplets that adhere to the upper part of the outlet pipe 6 and fall, which causes the separation efficiency of the oil separator to deteriorate. Furthermore, since the flow velocity at the inlet of the outlet pipe 6 is high, the oil separated by the separation plate 2 is caught up in the gas flow and enters the outlet pipe 6 together with the gas flow, impairing the separation efficiency.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention connects a gas inlet pipe to the upper part of the cylindrical container, and installs a separation plate facing the inlet pipe to collide the gas and separate the oil. In the gas collision separation type oil separator provided with an outlet pipe protruding upward, the separation plate is formed in an upwardly convex shape, and
A plurality of notched holes are provided in the periphery of the separating plate, the periphery of the separating plate is installed on the inner wall surface of the cylindrical container, and the space above and below the separating plate are communicated through the notched holes. It is characterized by:

By configuring as above, the oil separated by the separation plate can fall along the inner wall surface of the container, preventing it from being re-splattered into the gas flow, and a part of the oil can be removed from the separation plate. This can prevent the material from adhering to the bottom surface of the pipe and falling into the outlet pipe.

In the present embodiment, the separation plate 10 is formed in an upwardly convex shape (in the shape of a cap), and a plurality of notch holes 11 are provided in the periphery, eliminating the pivot hole of the conventional example.

With this configuration, the oil captured by the separation plate 10 and turned into a large mist falls along the inner wall surface of the outer cylinder 1. The gas flow passes through the inside of the notch hole 11, changes its direction from a downward flow to an upward direction, and exits from the outlet pipe 6, so that the oil that falls along the inner wall surface of the outer cylinder 1 is re-splattered into the gas flow. There's nothing left to do.

Furthermore, since the separation plate 10 is formed in a canopy shape, part of the oil is prevented from adhering to the lower surface of the separation plate 10 and falling into the outlet pipe 6 as oil droplets, as in the conventional example. .

As is clear from the above, according to the present invention, oil does not adhere to the bottom surface of the separation plate and fall into the outlet pipe as oil droplets, and the oil that becomes a large mist on the separation plate is removed from the container. Since the oil flows along the inner wall surface, there is no chance of re-scattering into the gas flow, thereby improving the separation efficiency of the oil separator.

Further, since the separation plate is installed on the container side, there is no problem in terms of vibration due to the influence of pulsating pressure of the gas flow, etc., and a structurally stable oil separator can be obtained. Furthermore, due to the notch holes provided at the periphery of the separation plate, the gas flowing through the notch holes forms a jet core, and the oil flows down along the inner wall surface of the container, and the gas flow to the outlet pipe is controlled by the jet core. Since the oil flows in a U-turn with an averaged deceleration flow, oil can be sufficiently separated with a simple structure.
